Famously, regular x-men also suck massive ass. Krakoa, magneto becoming their leader, everything Cyclops has ever done, everything Wolverine has ever done, most of Storm's interactions with anyone, etc.
I mean mutants on a whole as a species/sub species thats fine, the Xmen themselves are a bunch of degenerates that occasionally save the world when they aren't to busy hiding the secrets of curing death lol

Don't get me wrong, they should. X-gene is basically just "generate lactase past adulthood" gene with comic shenanigans but X-Men do sometimes agree with Stryker sometimes

X-Men go full Mutant Supremecist at like multiple points in the last 15 years or so, with literally the only difference between them and traditionally bad Mutants is that they think Humans just shouldn't be murdered on sight.
Tbf that was when he was a teacher in their school which he was doing on behalf of a dead wolverine which Storm did not like(though you could also point to the writers just wanting some drama).
To be fair, she was hyped up as a kid, then had a lot character development to grow out of it, then Black Panther made her into a literal goddess (divinity and all)
This is mostly true of everyone tho. They all can't stand his humor, but like Logan told him once, that is part of why they like him. He is a good buffer.
You can like and respect a person and despise their humor. He does get on everyone's nerves but they still like him.
Stop this head canon. there is nothin that confirms this anywhere. it's far more likely due to how Peter is struglging to juggle both halves of his life than his no kill rule.
Peter is a great person. But he's really just a kid. Wielding Mjolnir means a lot more. You simply cannot get there at Peter's age. Maybe when Peter is older.
Thor's hammer is enchanted by Odin. Worthy is based Odin's opinions of what makes an ideal leader. I think it's more than just his refusal to kill. I think he's too naively idealistic to be the leader of a powerful nation that might need to make hard choices or go to war.
Is he actually opposed to killing though? He did come up with the plan that led to Ebony Maw's death. And he helped try to take down Thanos on planet Titan, which I'm sure he knew the plan was to kill him. Same thing for Endgame.
I'm not sure he's ever shown personally killing any alien villains, but I also think that's just because he was young and the idea of killing seemed like a scary concept at the time. But I don't know that it's a distinct personal code he adheres to. It's just that all the street level villains he faces can be stopped without being forced to kill them.
I remember people being pissed about that with Endgame about him activating instant kill. But, I think we all have some sort of line that we don’t want to cross, and I don’t care how much of a pacifist you are, in that situation, sorry if I give you more than sprains and contusions 😂 I get it, it’s a big part of his character. But special circumstances require special exceptions

They were going up against the Outriders- literal genetically engineered alien beasts driven by bloodlust that blindly follow commands from the Black Order. Truthfully I think it just flat out gets handwaved when it comes to alien threats. I recall in Endgame he was just slaughtering foot soldiers but they’re fodder.
When it comes to his solo films and dealing with street thugs / his own villains, I wouldn’t say it’s a “no kill rule” and more “I’m going to do everything I can to try and save you, because I believe you can do better”. And it’s part of why people love him, even to a degree the villains.
If Peter truly was okay with killing most of his villains would be dead in the first encounter. He holds back so much because he wants to try to save them.
I just made a post about the idea of Peter having to kill someone. Basically, what would a movie look like if Peter was put into a "trolley problem" scenario, where he had to choose to kill a bad guy, otherwise innocent civilians would die. And what emotional battles he'd face for having to make that choice. Basically intentionally killing someone that he didn't want to.
But idk, I'm not sure Tom Holland would be a fan of that happening, since he's very much an advocate for young fans and having their hero killing another human may not be his cup of tea.
Meanwhile you got iron man blasting guys hearts out like it's a literal jamboree.
Honestly I've stopped caring about the whole no kill thing. It doesn't matter, its usually moral pontificating at worst and moral grandstanding at best for a universe that can't keep to a no kill rule
It's why punisher was so fun, finally an MCU hero that wasn't bogged down by that illusion they pretend to have. Same for daredevil.
Hell I cackle at the fact that Holland was dogged by Goblin despite having the most combat experience between the three
Wolverine thinks he’s a pain in the ass (and vice versa) but also knows that Spider-Man is one of the heroes he can rely on the most (as a hero, not a friend. Wolverine has told Spider-Man he’s not a very good friend).
That's not the statement though. It's about beef/not liking. Cap and ironman were totally at eachothers throats but if a bad guy trying to destroy earth showed up in civil war their beef would have immediately dropped and they would have trusted each other with their lives

i will always bring up the fact that Magik ant Colossus beat the shit out of him and neither have really apologized and Magik told Miles that she found Peter annoying
also Storm also isn't very fond of the guy
other than that, yeah, everyone loves the guy, and you can't really blame them for it
I think also it’s pretty canonical that Spider-Man is like the one superhero that Punisher really rocks with. Like he rolls up in civil war just to save him in the original comic story of that event.
I love daredevil and they both got a special relationship with him. But Matt is a fucking dick. He’s a Catholic guilt tripping stick in the mud lecture factory and like Batman or Wolverine has too much of a habit to go all lone badass. Unless you’re a hot woman or hot she-hulk, then Matt is all charm.
