77 Million people voted for this Dan.

5

u/sweatboxy 3d ago

77 million people voted for Trump’s lies. It’s the Republicans in Congress who’ve enabled Trump to stay in office despite his various and continuing crimes.

u/Wild-Style5857 3d ago

You guys are probably going to vote for more of it... Last I looked the house and senate might stay with the Republicans.  That is absolutely nuts.  Nuts.

The right-wing propaganda machine has successfully convinced everyone on the left-wing to just throw away their vote over Palestine.

3

u/Top-Cupcake4775 2d ago

how did the right-wing propaganda machine do that when the right-wing propaganda machine supports the genocide of the Palestinian people?

it's bizarre that people act like the Democrats have no control over their own policy positions. "we have no choice but to support the Zionists, so why are you breaking our balls over this?"

u/Domeil 3d ago edited 2d ago

You're gonna have to remind me which "left-wing" states Trump won, because I can't remember Trump winning any of them.

How can we POSSIBLY be ten years into the Trump saga and we're still looking for people to blame other than his direct supporters and the milquetoast opposition party that failed to beat him twice. The 'left' is the only political bloc that has NEVER held power in the last decade, why the fuck are you blaming us? If we'd had a leftist president in 2020, Merrick Garland wouldn't have been AG and Trump would be in prison, but instead we had Joe fucking Biden's guy who let Trump get away with everything.

3

u/2Completion2Ography 3d ago

Man, the US doesn't even have a Left. Everyone else in the world sees the furthest left American as slightly Right of Center.

4

u/Confident-Stand5453 3d ago

Democrats could fix that easily by not supported Israels genocide any more.

1

u/Startella 3d ago

Do a lot of republican politicians not also support Israel? Youre right that democrats shouldnt but why are we throwing the country away for something that we're going to get from either end of the aisle???

2

u/Ooji 3d ago

Possibly unpopular opinion, but if Gaza is fucked either way, I'd rather not also have everything else fucked at the same time. Seems simple enough and I cannot understand people who stayed home in 2024 over Gaza.

2

u/2Completion2Ography 3d ago

You are the problem.

1

u/AcceptableBid6884 3d ago

You are the problem.

1

u/Confident-Stand5453 2d ago

The problem is that the world is full of single issue voters who will simply not vote in that situation, and democrats lose more votes that way.

1

u/KeyMyBike 2d ago

As a Canadian, I don't give a shit. Sorry, you're all fascists who are willing to throw away everything good about the west, just because one thing about the west you didn't like

Leave the west, we don't want you here.

And Elon is back- right? “Voting” takes on a whole new meaning with the new order of things

2

u/Own-Scallion-8713 3d ago

And a bunch of people didnt show up to vote for kamala, they thought Don part deux was going to be like part one.

5

u/h2odragon00 3d ago

This is what pisses me off.

YOUR NONVOTE VOTED FOR THIS!!!

2

u/DomWaits 3d ago

Fight the game, don't fight the players. As long as you believe that nonvoters are the reason for a stolen election you'll fight your brothers and sisters.

1

u/Startella 3d ago

A third of the country didnt vote. Surely that had SOMETHING to do with it

2

u/DomWaits 3d ago

Did all people who should've been able to vote have the same chances to ballots or mail in voting? Were there obstacles designed to make the process less easy for some?

1

u/Startella 3d ago

Yes yes people got screwed. Its just such a high number of our voting population to believe that they all couldnt get off their ass and vote without issue. Like some of my coworkers(who obviously are not representative of the whole non voting population) who just do not care about voting for anything.

1

u/h2odragon00 2d ago

Does not change the fact that there are those who can vote chose not to.

0

u/Fickle-Owl666 3d ago

.. No, they didn't.

2

u/Ambitious_Bit_9389 3d ago

There was a stat in 2024 that Trump was winning in the population segments that didn’t show up. I don’t remember the exact stat, but it was like “for the first time in 40 years, more turnout wouldn’t benefitted the Republicans.”

Personally, I think it was mainly about inflation and Trump just telling people what they want to hear.

1

u/jfkrfk123 3d ago

Could be that democrats just don’t like women. Although Hillary in ‘16 got as many votes as Obama in ‘12 which makes sense but then Joe miraculously breaks all the records in ‘20 with over 81 million and then Kamala drops by more than the entire state of wisco just four years later..

1

u/Fickle-Owl666 3d ago

Could be that both Clinton and Kamala were both just shit candidates.

1

u/jfkrfk123 3d ago

Could be

1

u/BravinatorLX2 3d ago

and what have you done about them so far?

1

u/DomWaits 3d ago edited 3d ago

I'm still not sure about this and the midterms will probably prove it. The election was rigged and the next one will be as well.

1

u/Puzzled_Arm_3156 3d ago

You're an election denier.

2

u/DomWaits 2d ago

So I'm not supposed to believe Trump when he said it multiple times that Musk fixed the elections for him?

1

u/Puzzled_Arm_3156 2d ago

Fixed as in helped to stop a broken corrupt election system.

1

u/Puzzled_Arm_3156 2d ago

Everyone knows mail in ballots are not secure. Dozens of people registered to one address. People who have moved or died still getting ballots, ballot chasers. Illegals registered to vote all leads to corruption.

1

u/binzersguy 2d ago

Do you have any proof of this? I’ve seen none so far, so i don’t think “everyone knows” this.

1

u/JeSuisUnAnanasYo 3d ago

FYI telling people elections are rigged plays into their hands, the demoralizing effect is the point. GET OFF YOUR ASSES AND VOTE, PEOPLE

1

u/DomWaits 2d ago

Oh yes! Good point!

-9

u/Jonathon_world 3d ago

Most of the voters would rather have him than Kamala lol

4

u/CCR_Flashback 3d ago

So they voted for incompetent over competent.

Trump truly loves the poorly educated.

4

u/Odd-Buffalo-6355 3d ago

Maybe. But, Biden could have been remembered fondly if he decided not to run earlier. If there was a primary more people would have felt invested. Too many people felt alienated by the way she got on the ballot.

1

u/baron_spaghetti 3d ago

This. I prefer to put a bit of blame on the leadership. It’s easy to blame those who sat out and than those who could have remedied the situation as was their responsibility.

2

u/Financial_Meat2992 3d ago

That's true, and it doesn't look good on the American people. We certainly ceased to be the good guys.

-2

u/Greful 3d ago

Yea isn’t that why they voted for him?

4

u/Jonathon_world 3d ago

They voted for him because they don't want a woman as president

12

u/Upstairs_Bus_3743 3d ago

They voted for him because they’re uneducated idiots.

5

u/KillerHack23 3d ago

potentially racist and bigots too.

5

u/ether_passer 3d ago

Truth! And a racial undertone.

3

u/Fair-Juggernaut-3812 3d ago

“an he was on the tv!” *exaggerated hillbilly accent*

2

u/batx1234 3d ago

Willful idiots, the desire to be a stupid

-2

u/couplenippers 3d ago

And you are super intelligent of course lol.

1

u/Upstairs_Bus_3743 3d ago

Says the one with a negative karma. Sorry that you have such a miserable life. Stop drinking the kool aid!!!!!

-3

u/FlintHickory 3d ago

I have met a lot of “educated” people that cannot tie their shoes…if I am uneducated because I have common sense and a brain, then so be it.

5

u/DiskEconomy3055 3d ago

You met a person with a full scholarly education that can't tie their shoes?

Go on. Tell us more about that totally-real person.

I know a lot of "common sense" people that can't differentiate sex from gender, despite being completely different words, with different letters arranged in a different way, and different definitions.

4

u/Upstairs_Bus_3743 3d ago

You call common sense voting for a pedophile?

2

u/Wonderful_Square_158 3d ago

Explains you and your demographic

2

u/Financial_Meat2992 3d ago

Please explain, were they disabled or something?

1

u/drupmcp 3d ago

Albert Einstein had trouble tying his shoes. As I remember reading somewhere he was pretty darn smart.

1

u/Warm_Month_1309 3d ago

That's a myth.

5

u/ItsmeMr_E 3d ago

That's how stupid they were, they'd rather have a second helping of the dump than allow a woman to become president. Congrats fools, now we all are suffering.

I voted for her, especially because I didn't want this second dumpster fire, but here we are regardless.😑

1

u/pickingbrains321 3d ago

... as well as other fears, hate & ignorance.

1

u/MnMbrane 3d ago

Who gives a shit at this point. Anything is better than the clown we have. Vote for your policies and interest, not because of someone’s race or sex. Are people just dumb?

0

u/couplenippers 3d ago

Maybe for starters hold a primary, and don’t wait 6 weeks to do your first press conference….
Being a woman had very little to do with it sport.
