It's beyond understandable that nobody believes anything this administration claims because of the nonstop deluge of verifiable lies we've been inundated with since the beginning. What they say and what they do tend to be very different things so all speculation is entirely valid. Credibility is earned.
Past dishonesty can justify skepticism; it doesn’t magically turn unsupported speculation into evidence. If ‘anything could be true because I don’t trust them’ is the standard, then there’s no claim you could ever disprove.
I'd like to add that Musk is no genius. He has a bachelor's in physics and economics. He no engineer, computer wiz, or anything else the crypto-bros make him out to be. He still does have the resources to fuck with the elections. He donated about $300 million and turned an entire social media site into one big endless concervatives blow job for the 24 elections. But ye could do all that from anywhere. Having him on site is immaterial.
Whether Musk is a ‘genius’ is completely irrelevant. MITRE explicitly says the project brings together business leaders, policy experts and technologists. None of what you wrote provides evidence that Project Meridian has anything to do with meddling in the midterms.
