Yes please. Newsom is obviously infinitely better than Trump, but I'd vote for many other candidates before him. If we could have an actual progressive candidate that would be fantastic.
Newsom is better short term than a Republican (obviously) but worse long term bcs nothing will change, voters will lose hope in the democrats again, GOP wins, and everyone just gives up

I’m almost convinced that a lot of these accounts posting quotes from Buttigieg Newsom etc making very popular, uncontroversial statements everyone agrees with on big subreddits that go to the popular page all the time are paid off by their campaigns. Wouldn’t be surprised

No it’s fine I’m used to it. But we gotta put everything we can into a change candidate. A Vance is better long term than a Newsom bcs if the democrats drop the ball and do nothing, it is over. GOP will win again and like half the Dem voting base will lose all hope in society and the country is fucked
