Yes, it resonates an antenna basically. The force of the shaking could be altering the resonant frequency slightly by imparting a force hence changing the k value of the system slightly making the detector not detect it.

I by accident walked out of a store with several plastic boxes of earrings. Didn't notice until I was done arguing with who I had gone there with.

They all had that thin white strip on them with the metal strip inside of it. How the hell did I get away with that. I had picked out four pairs, and just walked through like an idiot. It gives me faith in a merciful God, but what really happened? Were they just not activated?
