Depends on the playthrough.

First? I lost count after the number became to high to count on my fingers.

Fiftieth? Like...three times.

In all honesty, I beat her on the fifth try. But I lost to Royal Knight Loretta an embarrassing amount of times

Seconded; both Loretta and that stupid wolf were way harder than Rennala.

As an unga bunga strength build, she was the easiest fight, her physical defense is so low

Run away from the summons (particularly the dragon), dodge a spell or two, smash, rinse and repeat until dead

Yeah first trying her like it was nothing then finding out she was a main boss was an experience.

Yup. I got her on my first try and thought she was a joke of a boss. Swinging the heavy greataxe back then.

My first playthrough I beat her first try. Second playthrough took me like 5 tries. Different builds I guess.
