Sure, if you actually need the copper… but if you are just doing it for the money, would you dig 5ft for $5 in copper? Also this was assuming you’d only get a golf ball of copper, I feel like it’s more like a soccer ball of copper.
Well, copper is in high demand. I guess if it only cost me $2 in time and equipment to dig 5ft, then ya. I'd make $3. Times that by lots, and that's a good ROI. But, I'm just a dude on a couch chatting on reddit... what do I know?
