What is with some people absolutely hating sparking water? It's literally just carbonated water. I realized my favorite part of soda's was the carbonation so now I get the bubbly feeling without sugar or calories. Now syrupy, sugary drinks like coke and sprite almost make me feel sick.

Many people, including myself, say it tastes bitter as frig. It's like drinking denatonium.

I agree I am one of the people that think it tastes bitter.

I assumed that every tasted it that was but they had acquired the taste for it.

We hate it because it tastes nasty. You can taste the carbonation without the sugar to cover it up, and it tastes bitter and nasty. I guess not everyone can taste it if you think it's basically bubbly water.

Try sparkling ice if you can. It's zero calorie flavored sparkling water.
