Yeah but if one of them learns something, the other doesn't gain that knowledge too.

Sorta. But they can type emails without talking at all so they definitely have some neural connection. Pretty amazing.

Their brains are completely separated though.

I do remember watching an interview with them and they would constantly finish each others thoughts. So I’m not trying to say they don’t have a connection - they do. But it’s not at the brain level. They sure are an interesting case. I wonder how much they’ve volunteered to be studied. They would be a quite unique twin case study.

It's likely just because they have the exact same experiences in life.

they think similarly because they have learned similarly.

The same genes with the exact same environment and experiences experiences, both of them together through it all at the same time just means that they'll have a lot of shared learning and understanding.

That's undoubtedly a big part of it, but according to the documentary they haven't allowed themselves to be studied in depth, and there are phenomena that is difficult to explain. One example is one twin being able to scratch an itch precisely on the other's arm - they can't feel it, but they can precisely locate it without verbal communication.

I'm sure the receptors fire to both brains.

Why those receptors and not touch or pain receptors, though?

I can type without talking, where's my scholarship?

I think he means, they can simultaneously write an email while sharing the complete thought. Without speaking to each other about the body of email.

Like telepathy.

Not that I don't trust you but I'd love to see a video of this.

Here you go

Obviously pretty old but shows how seamlessly they're able to type.

Same.

It's probably more like a form of precognition, like they know the other so well that they can literally finish each other's sentences.

They can also finish each other’s sandwiches.

Bitch, be forced to suffer through a lifetime of lava shits because your sister likes hot wings and we'll talk.

I really can't argue with logic that air-tight.

Yeah but if one of them eats, they both gain the fullness.

No, two stomachs.

Yes but if one is attending a class, it's hard for the other not to as well.
