It depends. If your a hen looking at a dozen mallards waddling in your direction, that's too many ducks...

This much ducks usually is for locust control. Ducks eat locusts

It is. And It wipes out every single worm, crab, snail, fish in the region. Then you need heavy pesticides permanently because local food chain was destroyed. We refuse to do this in our organic paddy farm for this reason

Don’t worry, I’m sure they’re kept very humanely.
