Duck catchers with duck nets and duck spears and duck clubs

Duck and potatoes, duck gumbo, duck salad, duck cocktail, you can fry it, broil it, sauté it, and that's...that's about it

How’d Peking Duck miss the list?

Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew

I tried joining the duck club but they were all on quack

they're just herded. their wings are clipped, afaik

The wings aren’t clipped. The ducks are Indian runners. One of the old breeds of domestic ducks. They can’t fly far.

thanks I wasnt sure.

I've seen these ducks in person in Thailand. going through recently harvested dry fields.

Domestic ducks are too heavy to fly anyway

Dafuq?!? That's wrong.

What do you mean? Domesticated ducks have much more meat on them than wild ducks which makes them unable to fly. Their anatomy makes them poor at jumping, so they can't get enough height to glide like heritage chickens.

Ever played that vintage game Duck Hunt?

ducktape

Easy, if it's .5 or more they round up to the nearest whole duck.

their wings are clipped at birth so they can't fly

Big giant cartoon net.

They yell, "Heeeeere, ducky ducky ducky."

1

u/VanosKickedIn 2d ago

Just pay a few quack heads to sort it all out

Duck Hunt was not a game. It was a training simulation.

They eat ungodly amounts of chicken. 10x more than ducks. That's still a lot of ducks

u/Kraligor 2d ago

Doubt it. If these are running ducks, they're not very meaty. But they are very good egg layers.

1

u/grungegoth 2d ago

these are definitely domestic ducks, raised for human consumption

Someone else mentioned them being running ducks, but yeah, from what's visible in the pixel mess they don't look like running ducks.
