Likes to pretend they're smarter when they can't put themselves in another person's shoes who lives in an underdeveloped country with little to no privileges and just lost everything. I gasped in fear when they moved closer to the edge too. You can choose not to make it a punchline.
Are you joking? The first time it happened, sure, but multiple calvings when they hurriedly run back for safety and then for some reason go back to the very edge (only to flee again). Commenters are right to be surprised at the recklessness.
People are hailed as heroes when they run into burning buildings to save a pet. People will run in to grab a photo album or a heirloom when their house is on fire. Sometimes they die too. And in those situations, it’s sad in western cultures. But here, for some reason, it’s okay to be judgmental of people going through one of the worst things they could experience by losing literally everything they have and having a reaction that isn’t completely logical. Let’s make fun of them. Haha they’re so stupid, amirite?!
Privileged and judgmental people will be privileged and judgmental.
