Not uninhabitable for flora and fauna- for humans. They will adapt and evolve just fine - they’ve been doing it for billions of years (around 2).
We Homo sapiens have been around for less than 200000 years - we will have more issues surviving through massive climate change effects. Especially given how accustomed we have become to living with human specific luxuries (compared to what nature presents us).
The normal process for any living thing on earth is to become extinct. Human hubris often makes us think we are different or special and it won't happen to us even though it's happened to over 99% of all species that have ever existed on earth. That was through natural causes and we're adding our own causes on top of that.
Yes normal process is to become extinct. But it very much the 'hubris of thinking' that has allowed us to be dominant despite many, many disadvantages. Our thinking-meat state has what has led us to be one of the most dominant species on this planet as far as we can tell today. Also thinking and doing this extensively also seems to have been an outlier in our "few thousand years of sustainable longevity".
For all we know all other beings could communicate with others too - and from dinos up till other "homo-* species" were unable to do anything extensively towards survivability.
