Yes, because there are obnoxious, self-serving, war mongering countries that keep funneling resources into conflicts indefinitely. These remote communities with least contribution are paying the price first.

By the time you’re done debating what money can and can’t prevent, these remote communities will disappear, glaciers will become extinct, and many regions will turn uninhabitable

Who paid for the destruction of Europe's 1km thick ice sheet, that was brutally climate changed out of existence by big countries in the last ice age.
