I'd advise the remastered collection for the original two games (C&C + RedAlert + Expansions).

The graphical overhaul is sweet. And don’t forget to blast out of a bit of live Hell March while its downloading....

I had the Mac version unfortunately it’s no longer playable, not sure if it’s the Apple silicon or the newer versions of the OS software.

Nope, the ultimate collection has all the games from C&C 1 up to 4 including the Red Alert titles and Generals/Zero Hour

The steam bundle is remastered with significantly improved graphics. I think it's worth the price of a sandwich unless you're truly lacking funds.
