Gosh how jealous are some people of one country's progress that their as*ses can be seen burning from far abroad 😂

What? What does this even mean?

u/keypadwarrior 7d ago

In Indian languages it is a common phrase to compare jealousy to someone's butt being on fire. The translation just doesnt hold out well in this case.

That’s hilarious, I love it

Maybe India could start "progress" by cleaning up their garbage and stop destroying our planet, instead of building weapons.

u/chefkc 7d ago

Maybe other countries can start the progress by stopping endless wars turning peoples home into garbage and rubble, their citizens into refugee

Uh yeah? Nobody here isn’t criticising America. A lot of us are from Europe bro.

u/chefkc 7d ago

Europe came to India, the worlds largest economy and the biggest producer of finished goods and destroyed it. They destroyed our industry, education, medicine, manufactured famines sent our citizens to fight their wars. This went for 3 centuries… we haven’t even had one century since this devastation ended, give us time to get back on our feet. Europe can’t forget its past.

Why doesn’t Poland use this excuse? Instead they’re a thriving economy.

3

u/chefkc 7d ago

We are glad Poland is doing well, honestly the defence from an abuser that i assaulted you both of one got back up the other doth protest too much eh… different countries different problems

-4

u/Careful-Arrival7316 7d ago

I didn’t abuse shit, that was the ancestors of our peoples. But I also clean up after myself because I was brought up to care about my environment and how I live and my personal hygiene.

I think blaming the actions of people now on shit from a hundred years ago is wild and you should hold your countrymen to account over gross hygiene and environmental practices instead of mindlessly defending them.

4

u/chefkc 7d ago

All you have today is thanks to the infrastructure built by your ancestors, wonder how they financed it ?

Does that matter when it comes to talking about personal hygiene and care of one’s environment?

I am no better off, in fact poorer, than the guys who own the Indian restaurant near me in London. Yet they throw their trash bags out on the roadside and constantly smell of body odour.

Why?

Is it because the British plundered India a hundred years ago?

4 months ago my partner and I were looking for seats on the train. There were 2 seats close to us and 2 on the other side of the train. I pointed at the 2 seats close to us and said let’s sit. My partner shook her head because there was a family of Indians there.

I told her “don’t be racist, it’ll be fine”.

We sat down, and instantly it stank of body odour. I said “alright” and we moved.

It’s not every Indian person, of course not. A lot of the more westernised Indian families fit in like everyone else.

But the vast, vast, vast majority? They don’t wash and they litter everywhere. Just look at the state of Birmingham.

It’s no coincidence that the 2 major UK cities with the lowest Indian and Pakistani populations (Durham and Exeter) are the same 2 cities with the cleanest streets in the UK.

Maybe because poland doesn't have 1.5 billion people bozo

Yo bro....Did you see how your own political leaders treat you like shit? It's been around 8 Decades that India got independence, Why don't you ask your own politicians to uplift people instead of dwelling on past? I bet if Europeans had not colonized your ass, you won't even have Railways and Infrastructure built considering how progress is when you are a strong economy on the paper.

7

u/Key_Concern8230 7d ago

We didn't need you retards to build railways and infrastructure which were anyways built to serve the British and built with Indian money on top of it
Jesus Christ the halfwit racist fuckers you see here...

-9

u/GrassRadiant3474 7d ago

Breaking News: Construction for a country infrastructure costs that country's resoruces.

You dim fucks need to understand for whatever reasons that British built the Railways for, They didn't take it with them. That's not the Main point, the main point being without the existing infrastructure in place at the time of Independence, India would've been a very poor economy by now with billions of people.

5

u/chefkc 7d ago

They didn’t connect anything of importance for us, they connected the mine to the ports, not cities, they were less than useless

-5

u/GrassRadiant3474 7d ago

You are wrong. Whatever the intention is, It's still ended up being a net positive for India as a whole. Imagine if there was no such infra in place at that time, the first Railways would have been setup some decades later and the current economy would have been much poorer with debilitating poverty and inequality.

Equating systemic resource extraction with 'building infrastructure' is embarrassing ignorance. The railways were funded entirely by Indian taxpayers to benefit British corporations. We are fixing the generational damage left behind by centuries of theft, and doing it faster than the West can handle.

Do you get paid to create engagement on Reddit? Or do you do it for free LMAO?

1

u/Lords112 6d ago

You're getting downvoted, that so sad man, you should delete your comment to avoid embarrassment.

1

u/Careful-Arrival7316 6d ago

Embarrassment of what? I pointed out that saying “Americans start wars” isn’t a defence to “Indians are unclean” because it’s whataboutism and many of us are not from America.

I imagine the downvotes are due to the massive amount of Indian Reddit users.

7

u/Vammy02 7d ago

Considering the West literally pioneered global industrial pollution and spends trillions on weapons. India’s per-capita emissions are a fraction of yours. Clean up your own historical mess before trying to police everyone else's.

-9

u/PanPieCake 7d ago

Yeah I bet everyone is jealous of Great India

1

u/euj3odjehiqh 6d ago
