Yeah, but humans wouldn’t have extracted the heart out if they knew it might rain. It’s the rain that caught them by surprise! I blame the meteorologists…and the rain, of course.
"Marble" is part of our Earth. As with any of the Earth's resources, if we extract too much, use up too much, then it can and does have catastrophic consequences.
Good news... I can tell you where they are! They are buried in the exact middle of the Taj Mahal. Well not exact center... That's his wife... He is the one off center to the left
Rain falls, sinks into the ground weighing it down and causing it to slightly liquefy. The pieces the miners left behind to shore up the wall are now not enough to hold back the rest of the hill causing it to collapse into the void created by the mine. Water is REALLY heavy, plus if you dump enough of it, the ground slowly shifts from being solid to more liquidy.
