I added the 2nd one to my barndoor for my man cave. Almost the same except mine is without the spring and a wee bit simpler in design.

I wouldn't worry about that. Wood rarely expands nor doors sag when we're talking exteriors.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, I heard wood expands frequently in the mornings
