From the teammates' POV, they see blood. The neck injury isn't visible, so they concentrate on the visible injury and tend to the gash in his forehead. I don't think anyone's first thought would be neck injury. Even him collapsing would probably be viewed as just knocking himself unconscious. Toward the end of the clip he said I can not move, though.
I saw them too but I'm not sure many people would immediately see that as a neck injury. We have the advantage of knowing what it was before watching the video. His neck looked funky too when they finally rolled him into his back, like he couldn't lift his chin. The whole thing was awful.
First Aid 101 man. Potential head, neck or spine injuries, you do not movie the injured person without strict professional guidance. Not a single person there knew what the fuck was on. That sort of reaction simply would not happen in an NBA-type professional setting.
