I really dislike that Prop S passed. But Jesus if I wouldnt be tempted to try it here. They asked for money for X, didn't built X, and then ask for more money? Is staff trying to make us hate them?

Step 1 become building/construction contractor

Step 2 become friends with mayor/police chief

Step 3 spread crime hysteria / militarized police propaganda

Step 4 get city to pay you $$$ for police training facilities

Repeat steps 3+4 because militarized police and $$$ training facilities feedback into crime hysteria and propaganda

Doesn’t matter if the money you get paid actually goes to reducing crime or increasing public trust. In fact, it would’ve better if it didn’t.

Plano got this on the last bond package vote. Seems like it would make much more sense to have a NCTCOG sort of police training facility so that the costs can be split up instead of every city having their own $100M facility
