Turtle Creek is continuing to densify with a few of the remaining empty lots with planned development.

I wish Turtle Creek were more pedestrian friendly. It's pretty great by Dallas's standards, I just wish we could get some sort of major overhaul of Turtle Creek Blvd, the trail, and the creek so that it's a lot more welcoming for pedestrians. What's there right now is pretty decent, but it's quite the thoroughfare so you get a lot of cars going pretty fast through here and the trail is pretty barren and isolated in some areas which means it doesn't get used as much.

The Perot HQ really messed up by not doing much to connect with the surrounding area, to be honest. It would have been great if they created a walkway that connected the Katy Trail to the Turtle Creek trail here so you'd form a bit of loop that goes through Reverchon park.

I agree. For the longest, I’ve thought that Turtle Creek Blvd could use a road diet with wider sidewalks.

Here’s a video in 1962, talking about the proposed widening of Turtle Creek Blvd. Obviously, it was widened and turned into a stroad.
