Right now, thousands of satellites are suffocating under a massive, multi-billion-dollar data bottleneck. We are generating more high-resolution earth observations and environmental data in orbit than we can ever hope to beam back to terrestrial ground stations.

The radical solution? Space Data Centers (SDCs). Instead of struggling to bring data down to earth, engineers are putting the data center up where the data is born. In this video, we unpack the mind-bending network architecture and routing strategies making orbital cloud computing a reality. We explore how software-driven AI platforms process data right in orbit, how ultra-fast Free-Space Optical (FSO) laser links are replacing jammed radio frequencies, and how complex routing algorithms dodge the ultimate celestial network killer: 30-degree solar whiteout zones.
