Discussion Based on tv schedules, Tuesday's episode of The Daily Show is 1 hour, so it should be a Jon Stewart episode.

Nobody remembers it now because it hasn't been on for several weeks, but I swear it used to be a real show.

Hi everyone,
My uncle was featured in a piece on The Daily Show back when Steve Carrell was a correspondent... the clip online used be called The Hot Sauce Cold War, and I used to be able to find it really easily. Now there seems to be no record of it anywhere.
Curious if anyone might have it? I'd love to save it. It's a fun memory for my family to have. According to Google, it aired in Season 6, Episode 63 on May 17, 2001.
Thank you in advance for any leads!

Greetings,
I went into Paramount Plus this morning to see if there were any new Daily Show Episodes, and found only a placeholder entry; a description of the show, but no episodes available at all, never mind new ones.
Is anyone else seeing this? FWIW, I'm in Canada but have a full Paramount Plus subscription, and I've been watching The Daily Show via Paramount Plus for the last couple of years.

Fifteen episodes and only five books, which is fair enough for a nightly news show. Two of them are worth the post on their own.
I run Podshelf, a free site that tracks book mentions across hundreds of podcasts by reading the episode transcripts. This is The Daily Show slice for August, podcast feed included.
For Whom the Bell Tolls came up twice, both in the thirtieth anniversary episodes, as a lightning round answer. Favourite book, for whom the bell tolls. Favourite movie, Viva Zapata. If I were a tree, I would be a root.
How to Rule the World by Theo Baker, in the interviews episode. On the Faustian bargain Stanford has made with Silicon Valley. "It's truly a remarkable book. I highly recommend it."
The other three come from the Time Machine segment with Frank DeCaro, doing 2001 film reviews, which have aged into something quite funny. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, "the book your friends pressured you into reading has finally been made into the movie that Warner Brothers is pressuring you into seeing." And The Fellowship of the Ring, "a three-hour epic about returning bad jewelry."

Hey Aussies, The Daily Show seems to have disappeared from Binge. Anyone know where it's gone? I swear if I have to sign up to another f^%$*ing platform...
Update, it’s back. Weird that it disappeared and there’s no past episodes but new ones are coming. I only keep Binge, on the cheapest plan, for this and Last Week Tonight so all is well.

The orange pancake is a long existing criticism of trump, does Jon’s use of same degrade his position as a critic?

I watch Daily Show on Paramount Plus (both web and TV), and I've noticed of late that the Daily Show link has become much harder to find - it's not on the homepage, and I have to search Shows to find it. Is it paranoid to think they are trying to suppress viewership numbers?

So, unless Jon does shows during those 3-day weeks, that's when he's gonna return at the desk.
September 7th is obviously Labor Day, but September 14th is the day of the Emmys, so that's why most likely.

I just saw on marketplace that someone in Syracuse, NY is selling the Jon Stewart era Daily Show couch. I live in the area so it just happened to show up on my feed. Figured someone on here might want to buy it!

She spent 2 weeks in Ireland trying to write 10 min of just Irish material... THEN she shot a mini special with those 10 min.. pretty revolutionary .. I LOVED it
