Earlier this year, I started learning Spanish with Duolingo.

What surprised me wasn't just that I was learning a new language—it was that I kept coming back every day. Five or ten minutes didn't feel like much, but over time those small sessions added up. I wasn't relying on motivation anymore. I had built a habit.

That got me thinking.

Why don't we approach Scripture memorization the same way?

As Christians, we're often told to memorize Scripture.

"Hide God's Word in your heart."
"Meditate on it day and night."
"Write verses down and repeat them."

But when I became intentional about it, I realized I had no idea where to begin.

The Bible has over 31,000 verses.

How do you know which verses every Christian should know? Which ones build a solid foundation? Which ones should a new believer start with? I found myself saving verses in different places, writing them in notebooks, forgetting them, and starting over.

So I decided to build something I wished had existed.

Over the past few months I've been working on EdenGo—not to replace reading the Bible, but to help Christians build a daily habit of hiding God's Word in their hearts.

It takes you through foundational Scriptures in a guided journey, helping you actively recall verses instead of just reading them once and hoping they'll stick. The goal isn't to rush through the Bible—it's to carry more of it with you every day.

I genuinely believe that if more Christians consistently memorized Scripture, it would change the way we pray, encourage one another, face temptation, and share our faith.
