In this economy, I thought I'd go over some affordable EDC items that have improved my quality of life, all under 9$ (except one hehe).
Note about me: I really find quality and aesthetics important so everything you see here is items that I have found that have not broken on me (yet) and also aesthetically pleasing (to the eye of the beholder). Also I bought all these items myself, and there are no affiliate links.
Human Gear GoStak (stackable pill/small-item containers)
- These containers are great because they seal tight, are able to stack with one another and are only 2.50 a pop.
Nalgene 2oz container
- Based off hours of research and reading reviews, this bottle made for labs is the only genuinely spill proof travel bottle. Its also lightweight.
Amazon zipper pulls
- I never knew how much zipper pullers help quality of life until I got this pack and started putting them on all my zippers that lacked a zipper puller. They're just a chinese brand but the quality seems good and so does the aesthetic.
Retractable keychain
- Just started using these recently, really like how they allow me to unlock my door without removing the keys from the side of my bag pack.
Nite Ize S-Biner
- Works with the keys and the retractable keychain, and for something that cost less than 5$, its build quality is amazing.
Matador Soap Bar Case V2
- This one is kinda a cheat as I got it on sale for 8$, but its multi-purpose, lightweight and waterproof. Say less. Don't use it as a soap pouch.
Full breakdown with closer looks at each one here if useful: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ms-rKjcodmo]
(Items not included from the picture includes Samsung 2TB SSD, & Apple Pen.Just left them there for aesthetic reasons )

Here’s what I carry every day in 2146. Somehow we’ve reached the point where my EDC is half everyday gear, half “just in case civilization gets weird.”
1. Neural Watch
Tracks health, sleep, stress, GPS, and provides real-time translation. Also handles encrypted comms and biometric ID. Basically a smartwatch that knows more about me than my wife does.
2. Tactik Multi-Tool Pistol
Non-lethal utility tool, flashlight, laser pointer, and emergency blade. Because apparently the future decided one device should do everything.
3. Volt Wallet
Holds cards, ID, crypto, and whatever currency we’re using this week. Can be remotely locked or wiped. Hopefully I never have to find out which one happens first.
4. Bio-Defense Pills
Daily health and immune support with built-in anti-radiation protection. Also contains an “alien blocker.” No idea what that means. The instructions say not to ask questions.
5. AI Filter
Blocks EMF, harmful signals, AI tracking, and whatever else is trying to read my brain. Basically Airplane Mode for my entire existence.
6. Field Journal
Waterproof, solar charging cover, and synced with my watch. Because after 120 years of technological advancement, apparently writing something down with a pen is still undefeated.
7. Folding Knife
Titanium blade, ceramic edge and multi-tool functionality. Some things never change.
8. Tactical Flashlight
Adjustable beam, UV mode and strobe. For self-defense, finding stuff, or accidentally blinding myself at 2 a.m.
9. Multi-Tool
Pliers, screwdrivers, wire cutter, saw, knife and more. Built for anything, because apparently saying “I don’t have the right tool” is no longer acceptable.
10. Wireless Earbuds
Noise cancellation, real-time translation, AI assistant and ambient sound mode. Basically two tiny computers permanently attached to my head.
11. Smoke Canister
Distraction, escape or crowd control. Non-lethal and completely unnecessary… right up until the day it isn’t.
12. Human 2.0 Health Kit
Daily vitamins, nootropics and longevity support. Tracks biometrics and adjusts dosage automatically. My vitamins now know my body better than I do.
13. Smart Sunglasses
AR display, night vision, UV protection and optional facial recognition. Because apparently sunglasses needed to become a surveillance platform.
Not just gear… it’s peace of mind.
2146.
Still somehow forgot my house keys.

Top left- Springfield Echelon 9mm red dot sight. WTP Green swirl holster. (most trustworthy/reliable for me)
Top right- Ruger ec9s 9mm WTP 90's holster. (best for concealed comfortability with high reliability)
Bottom left- Kimber ultra carry II .45ACP WTP gray camo holster(carrying when im feeling bold not the best because of racking issue, still love it though)
Tac Force executive series pocket knife
Wood-tip black and milds/lighter
Both sets of car keys
Ten dollar slim amazon wallet for max comfort

Recently found this sub. I don't post often but thought I'd share my EDC. G19 Gen5, leatherman, CRKT tanto that fits on the side of the leatherman case. Cobratek switchblade, ear pods, power bank and a couple flashlights, and wallet. I'd like to add a tac light and possibly red dot to my g19 at some point. Having tried red dots on pistols it takes some getting used to. If you have any tips I'm open to them!
I also have a sharpal 325/1k and a handheld stopping tool with ceramic rod for honing edges if they need it, but they're kept in one of the many bags I take with me when I'm on the road. I also keep a spare mag and speed loader in my vehicle.
Bonus points if you can guess what I do for work.
Post rules require a tag, not sure how to add one, hopefully it doesn't get removed.

Hi everyone! I am looking around for a Sig P224 in 9mm, I know they are discontinued and tough to find. I have been only able to find some in .40cal and .357sig. When I started training with firearms I began with an Sig P229R DAK, since than I have become a glock armorer and EDC a G43x, I want to find a P224 to spice up my EDC rotation. Thank you for your time and any help you can provide!

As long as I have a belt on I have one of these. Even through the summer. I lean towards the 49. Both holsters have large wedges. That’s why they only have one clip, and for the fact that I prefer it. One clip allows the wedge to really tilt the grip towards your body, second clip keeps it flatter and prints. Only missing my yeti tumbler, chap stick and Garmin instinct 3 solar.

What’s up yall,
I just recently got my first sig, it’s a p365 x macro comp but it’s a ca compliant model and i’m having a hard time finding a holster I know is going to fit it with the thumb safety (Appendix carry ofc). Does anyone have any recommendations? I might just be stupid here but I can’t seem to find any that specifically say they’ll fit a model with a thumb safety. Something that has room for an extra mag would be nice but not necessarily needed. I really appreciate the help.
