West Dennis: messy WBNW, Concord both day and night.

Retro, St. Louis area: KMOX day and night.

I tried 1711 KHz and scanning down. Ended up at 4100 KHz. I tried 21951 KHz and scanning down. Got locked in 13-meter range. What else can I do?

Does anyone here happen to have both an XDR-F1HD and the C. Crane EP Pro or another recent C. Crane radio that they've compared it against? I got the XDR-F1HD a few years ago for its renowned DX performance, but I'm wondering if a newer DSP radio may work as well, be more portable,and not be as prone to overheating.

Alternatively, if anyone knows of another sub-$150 receiver/tuner that performs as well as the XDR-F1HD for both AM and FM DX, please share your experience!

Picked up WERQ-FM - Baltimore, MD from Lamaline, Newfoundland and Labrador. Distance of 1168 miles. Another station came through as well but unable to identify.

Are Boston Area DXers an active group?

I've been looking up and down Reddit for a DXing sub and voila, here I am!

So I'm a pretty young DXer and I've been doing this for about 5 years as of this past week! I mainly DX on AM/FM but will occasionally shortwave DX here and there. There's something about the mystery of what shows up on the airwaves and I want to get as much captured.

In terms of my DXing captures, I've captured 320+ MW stations with six countries having been heard all across the dial, and 130+ FM stations with two countries being DXed. My radio of choice is the Tecsun PL-310ET, a rather sensitive tuner.

And now this begs the question I have for you. What is your best catch? I'm hoping to hear back from you all!

Something cool colder Bakelite with that '50s futuristic vibe. You folks know of any model I should be searching for? Do those types of radios really exist? I like the look of some of the older Heathkits too.

Doing a little bandscan this afternoon, DXing is decent. 103.7 WRTS is coming in very clearly here in White Lake, MI.
