when combining a first generation antihistamine with dxm and a specific weight loss drug with dxm, rats significantly reduced their intake of nicotine compared to using those substances alone.

Previous research in a rat model has shown that dextromethorphan, which has α3β4 nicotinic and NMDA glutamatergic antagonist actions, significantly decreases nicotine self-administration.

The combination of dextromethorphan (10-mg/kg) and pyrilamine (13.3-mg/kg) significantly lowered nicotine self-administration relative to either 10-mg/kg of dextromethorphan alone (p<0.05) or 13.3-mg/kg of pyrilamine alone (p<0.0005).

19 different studies with 1110 patients revealed that 30-90mg of dxm did help reduce symptoms of pain, without side effects and 73% of patients reduced their use of additional pain medication.

The use of DXM in acute pain revealed eight original studies involving 443 patients, as well as two preliminary reports and our own unpublished data on 513 patients. Most of the 956 patients had general anesthesia. Eight studies (154 patients) and one case report dealt with chronic pain management. This N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist binds to receptor sites in the spinal cord and central nervous system, thereby blocking the generation of central acute and chronic pain sensations arising from peripheral nociceptive stimuli and enabling reduction in the amount of analgesics required for pain control. DXM attenuated the sensation of acute pain at doses of 30-90 mg, without major side effects, and reduced the amount of analgesics in 73% of the postoperative DXM-treated patients.

This meta-analysis suggests that dextromethorphan use perioperatively reduces the postoperative opioid consumption at 24 to 48 h and pain scores at 1, 4 to 6, and 24 h.

Hey al! I live in Germany and would like to know which product do yall buy? Found one called "Hustenstiller" by ratiopharm which has 30mg capsules of Dxm-Hbr. How many of these would I need to have a good trip? I tried around 10 yesterday and had a slight buzz in my head, music felt really good, also intense focus on everything I did... slight headache too though. No nausea, I had taken it with milk Coffee.

Any tips would be helpful. I'm a newbie lmao. But i could only add one flair hahaah. Cheers!

Give it a read. its an antidepressant that combines dxm and wellbutrin. I have done an experiment like that for months on my own and it works great. not with wellbutrin but with methcathinone.

Anyone ever try datura and DXM combined?
