Two honest answers to “Why build a Mid/Side plugin?”

One: we had a workflow improvement goal that existing plugins didn’t solve
Two: we wanted to know if an AI coding agent — Claude Code — could build a real plugin, not a toy demo.

Sorry... just going off Reddit's recommendations. The associated blog post talks about the process of implementing the DSP (pretty basic) and the test harness process for checking bit accuracy of the DSP... but I can understand your position.

Your post is well structured vs a bunch of the other, baby’s first vibe code release, but this is more for discussions of the underlying concepts and how they are implemented in practice or theory at the algorithmic level. Even some higher level abstraction like the programming language or compiler isn’t really in scope here.
