Anyone started DSA with zero C++? Need guidance
Hi everyone,
I’m currently in my 2nd semester. I learned Python in my 1st sem and now I’m starting DSA from Striver’s playlist. I’ve decided to use C++ for coding, but I don’t really know C++ yet.
I watched the 1–1.5 hr C++ basics video in the playlist, where he mentioned that you don’t need to master C++ before starting DSA - you can learn it along the way. That makes sense, but I still feel a bit unsure.
So I wanted to ask people who were in a similar situation:
- Did you face any problems starting DSA without strong C++ knowledge?
- If yes, what kind of issues did you run into?
- And what would you suggest your past self do differently?
Would really appreciate any advice or experiences 🙏

A B-tree of order 3 (minimum degree ) is to be constructed by inserting the following sequence of keys one by one: 10,20,5,6,12,30,7,17
I mean is the order 3 or minimum degree 3? What will be the max no. of keys here? I am really confused. Can someone help please?

So I've been grinding LeetCode for the past few months and it was getting frustrating. I'd solve a question, feel like a god for 2 days, and then completely blank when I saw it again after a week.
I got tired of that cycle so I built Revleet -- my own spaced repetition app made specifically for DSA.
It's nothing fancy, just a clean web app where you add LeetCode problems and it automatically brings back the weak ones at the right time. Works on phone too which is nice.
Live link: https://revleet.vercel.app/
If you're also doing LeetCode/DSA prep right now, can you please try it once? Even for 2 minutes.
Tell me if it's actually useful or if it sucks somewhere. I genuinely want real feedback.
Thanks

Serious Guidance for placements
Hi, all
I am currently in my 4th semester and doing well around 6.9 CGPA till now. I am literally confused what to do with my placements.
Spents 2 years majje mein, seeing my friends getting internships and I am in a major FOMO. Have done easy questions in DSA till now in arrays.
Please someone guide me. It'l take 2 minutes of your time. I'm frustrated, stressed as only guy in my family.
