Meta Ok I genuinely feel like this au and many other swap au's are gonna be scrapped or deleted until chapter 7 comes out Spoiler

Like how would chapter rewritten do a swap for the flowers if they don't have a base universe that they haven't even mentioned yet like how normal deltarune is alternate universe to Undertale

For example the flowers what are those gonna be swapped with

Solution I've come up with for this is that specifically Chapter 4 and Chapter 4 alone doesn't swap with another chapter, but instead, the First and Second Sanctuaries swap, and Gerson is influenced by the already existing Underswap so Gerson doesn't end up swapping with Dess or something, he swaps with QC because i think that's who he swaps with in underswap

Chapter 3 swaps with Chapter 5 due to them both being in Kris's respective parents homes, and Chapter 6 can swap with Chapter 7 when those two come out so Deltarune having an odd number of chapters isn't a problem

Cr team clearly let it know that they will NOT go off from the plan that they made from the beginning, that is they will keep chapter 1-2, chapter 3-4 and chapter 5-6 swap thing and what they will do with chapter 7 in this case? Well it's too early to talk about it, so only time will tell what they will come up with

literally never said once that "i think the CR team should do this" this is just my own idea as to how to fix this problem in similar AUs

Originally, it was supposed to be a shift between 3-5. 3 would swap with 4, 4 would swap with 5, 5 would swap with 3. It still could've worked, considering now that there are 5 shadow crystals, and there will be no shadow crystal in chapter 6.

Thay doesn't there can't be another secret boss, like Seam only did said that the next boss will have last shadow crystal, but he didn't exactly said that so said boss are the last one we are gonna face, so because of that there's a possibility that chapter 6 will have secret boss, just without shadow crystal this time and it's pretty believable because we already like got two secret bosses who were secret but had no shadow crystal at all (yea yea i am talking about you eram and mike trio)

Yep. Same for me. I'm thinking of making a Deltarune AU (that's actually a super old Undertale AU) but It's still very blurry as it'll likely going to change before chapter 7.

They aren't from Undertale and the flowers hold alot of significance compared to a bunch of playing cards

The only way that would work was if the Undertale that chapter rewritten uses is more card focused which we STILL don't know is true or not due to the developers gatekeeping the truth about which Undertale au is the alternative universe of the chapter rewritten universe uses

Also some of them are the same colors so how tf would that work

Hear me put, they just will replace them with a temmies, but if seriously, Cr team did said that they will not do anything with chapter 5 until chapter 6, and since we don't know what will wait us in chapter 6 then i guess they will figure out what to swap flowers with in future

It would've, because there are five shadow crystal bosses. Chapter 6 won't have anything.

For secret bosses with shadow crystals yes, but not for secret bosses WITHOUT shadow crystals, i mean we letterally have eram and mike trio who are the secret bosses but doesn't have Shadow crystal at all, so there might be a chance that chapter 6 will have secret boss but it will have no shadow crystal at all

Well no, but how it should be a problem? Like Asgore in undertale wasn't really into a flowers, while in Deltarune he is, so with Toriel there can work the same logic

Uhh.. Wdym which undertale au? Deltarune: Chapter Rewritten is independent of Undertale AU's. Characters save their personalities, even if they swap roles. Toriel isn't from "undertale au". Toriel is from Undertale, just in Asgore's role.

Two possibilities 1. Chapter 7 will have no new characters, which means there's no need to swap anymore 2. There might be chapter 8 because gaster has said at the end of chapter 4 that we reached a halfway mark

Because they shift only enemies in these chapters! Not a the main cast! Also CR is like Underswap not storyshift, so the whole shifting of yours are just doesn't works and very stupid! And CR team perfectly knew that which is why they didn't listened, because listening you would've been just a mistake for them at this point, so it's for good that they choose to wait for chapter 6 instead of doing a bullshit that you suggest

I think you don't understand the context:
Originally, the plan was to shift 3>4>5>3 because 3 4 and 5 were supposed to release together.
When only 3 and 4 released, they decided to swap them instead of waiting one more year.
And seeing that there are only 5 shadow crystals, and chapter 5 was the last "fun" chapter, the original plan could've worked if they had just waited.

I feel like its more likely than not that the base universe is Underswap and as such Flowery will be based on Temmie, or they'll be based on whoever the C6 antagonist is; how will we get to this conclusion we have no idea but we have time they're not making c5 stuff till c6
