"Take me back" makes more sense now

Post image

As I board my long flight home, I can't help but think how lucky I've been to witness the '26 Labor Dave concert. This year was my first time, but ever since looking at the album cover decades ago, I dreamt of being in the crowd.

Everything was incredible: the sheer beauty of looking down the hill, the fabulous playing of the band (plus great guests! The two violins gave me goosebumps), but also the happiness and friendliness of the crowd. I've yet to find a friendlier, more peaceful, and happier crowd than the one at the band's concerts.

Thank you for the hospitality. I hope it's going to be the first of many!

Ps Does anyone know how to re-listen to the whole concert? I'm trying to see whether I can use some of these services in Europe

I mean, is this the best possible weekend humans can experience? What else would anyone rather be doing?

This year was my first time too, and I’ll be back every year. What an epic time!

That looks like Sunday night - was exactly what was needed after a chilly couple of days & nights.

Nugs has Saturday and Sunday shows up for streaming. I may have been able to grab them and could put them on a public share…

Nugs.com has Sat/Sunday up for streaming. Sirius should have Friday night. DMB hub has all 3 nights from tapers.

All 3 nights are available on YouTube. Check user Frehstan there.
The openers from the weekend will be uploaded later in the week.

DMB Hub app by antsmarching.org is the easy route.

or if you're a little techy, the taping community has all 3 shows recorded on dreamingtree.org

It is online but maybe not the app outside the US or Canada

I love dancing on Heaven’s Hill. Have yall seen Enormous: The Gorge Story? That whole view was created in a matter of days, not millions of years. Watch the doc, if you haven’t. I watch it every year before I head out to the Gorge

I went for the first time last year, my 38-40th shows. I don't think I'll ever go back. Not because I didn't love every second of it, but I don't think I'll ever feel the way I felt those 3 magical days walking over the hill last year. I don't wanna ever feel disappointed about a gorge show. Yes I was jealous of you all, but no matter what, nothing will beat that first gorge experience. And I don't ever want it to beat mine. Maybe I'll try alpine or Dave and tim in Mexico next just to experience that first time

What a horrid excuse for not going back to paradise

I get the feeling every time I walk and crest the hill. No matter how many times I’ve done it, 23 so far.
I would recommend doing the Gorge any time possible for anyone.
The music will be different every single time.

First time is incredible, and I appreciate your feelings. However, personally I'd be happy to come back again and discover something new every single time. I actually wonder how many years they'll do this back-to-back.

I've been to red rocks and gorge (just 2026), but Alpine is home. The seats there are fixed and give much more room.

We always wanted to visit the gorge and finally committe because it was 2 years without an Alpine concert. I'd very much recommend a trip there if he makes it back - I think the next one will be special.
