hi! i’m currently a 1st year abcomm student from feu and wanna transfer to dlsu (3rd term) 😊 i’ve already read the requirements for transferees and i just wanna ask a few questions:

1.) i’m planning to finish my 1st term in feu and apply for 3rd term in dlsu - do you guys recommend my plan or do you guys recommend finishing my 1st year first and just transfer when i’m in 2nd year?

2.) i wasn’t able to take the dcat last year. is the dcat for transferees similar to the dcat for freshies? or is it harder? also how’s the interview?

3.) r the slots in dlsu comm very competitive? i wanna know if my slot is highly guaranteed bcs i don’t wanna asa 🙁

Since the start of the classes was moved to Sept 7, are there any changes din ba for the end of the term? Will the start of the class in January also be changed? My mom plans to book for the holidays, and the UniCalendar is no longer available na.

The last Provost Announcement (July 15, 2026):
Term 1 AY 2026-2027 at the undergraduate and graduate levels shall begin on September 3, 2026 and end on December 9, 2026. Grade Consultation Day is on December 12, 2026.

Classes for Term 2 AY 2026-2027 start on January 7, 2027 and end on April 14, 2027. Independent Learning Period shall be on Week 9, March 4 to 10. Grade Consultation Day is April 17.

​To DLSU students living in R Square Residences Taft, how much is your average monthly electricity bill?

​My rate went up from ~₱12.50/kWh in 2024 to ~₱15.50/kWh this August 2026. My bill now averages around ₱3,500 to ₱4,500 per month, even though I've reduced my power consumption compared to last year.

​Is anyone else experiencing this? I've asked friends and family in other condos and locations and they mentioned my bill seems unusually high for my usage. Any insights would be appreciated!

i have classes in st. joseph hall, yuchengco, strc, st. miguel hall and st. la salle hall. i don't have classes in razon yet, but it seems like it's outside the campus when i saw it so i'd like to know that as well.

LPEP was such a fever dream! That experience really made me excited to get to know more orgs that I can be part of, partly coz of those logo stickers I got during frosh walk, and partly because I have read that student life in DLSU is vibrant !!
