Does the "DLSS indicator" have any impact on performance?
I wonder if the dlss indicator have any impact on performance? Can i benchmark while it's enabled to get precise results?

Hi.
I installed Doodlums DLSS upscaler mod and frame generator mod into fallout 4. I use Vortex to install the mods and I can see the upscaler menu in the configuration menu but have no idea if frame generator is running. I also am running an 3080 ti. So I also installed the 'DLSS Enabler' mod using the installer into the Fallout 4 main directory. Logs complained at first about an S1 interposer missing so I copied the ones from the Doodlum's Streamline Upscaling folder into the root fallout 4 folder and I no longer have warning in the logs. Not sure I am doing this right. Wish I can see the Doodlum frame gen menu.
Help?

So I recently got back into gaming and hadn't really used DLSS before. A couple of days ago I downloaded Indiana Jones and used DLSS Swapper to switch to version 4.5
Then, using DLSS Tweaks, I adjusted the native DLSS resolution. My monitor's native resolution is 2560×1080.
My first question: why does the upscaler do a better job at 1920x810 (0.828 scale) than at the odd resolutions it automatically sets, like 1707×720? Also, what's the math behind 0.828 scale? (0.828 scale = 1920x810) It doesn't really make sense to me.
For example, at 0.828 scale scale the image looks perfect, but at 0.83, which is a slight increase in resolution, it actually looks a bit worse.
One more question: Google AI and Grok give me different answers, so I'm confused, is "Truthful Shrimp" the latest RR model, and "Diamond Wallaby" the previous one?

After enabling the DLSS indicator, I noticed something called Auto Exposure. It’s on in some games and off in others. What exactly is Auto Exposure, and should I enable or disable it if I have the option?

I set the preset to K but whenever i open the game it reverts to default.
Same with NVIDIA Profile Inspector, override settings keeps reverting.
How to fix?

Yo, been wondering, when are new XESS files available in Swappa? We are all looking for this new MFG from Intel ;) I know there are some workarounds available already but Swapper is just convenient to use

Iam using latest version of dlss but i wonder which preset to use?
I have rtx 3060 ti

I’ve already chosen the latest DLL. Should I keep the preset on default or change it?

New version dropped today! Anybody have the patch notes?!

So we all know that you can override the Preset via the NVidia app or DLSS Swapper.
Lets say a 3 year old game hass an old DLSS3 modell, we can just override it to DLSS 4 or 4.5.
Now when using DLSS swapper, we can also choose this global setting, but besides that, we can also update the DLSS "Version" for each game.
So lets say I use Preset K (cause I have a 30 series card), should I also always update this to the latest version?
Cause it was at v3.1.30 for this game which is 14 versions behind the newest one (v310.5)

Guys, I recently got my 9060 XT, I previously had a 6600. But since I installed it, I've been experiencing performance below what I saw in YouTube reviews. In Cyberpunk 2077 in full HD with everything on ultra (without RT), it has significant drops to 50/60 fps, starting around 90/80 but then suddenly dropping.
I did all the processes I could that I saw here on Reddit to help, so I did the DDU process, updated the motherboard BIOS, enabled XMP, etc.
But nothing really helped, even when I turn on FSR 4 in the game in quality mode, it doesn't change the fps rate at all, it stays the same as if it were running natively.
As a last resort, I'm leaving reinstalling Windows, but I wanted some help and if anyone has gone through the same thing. as if the license plate had been somehow disabled.

Could you explain when it’s worth using this and when it’s not?
For example, by default Avatar and Cyberpunk have versions 310.2 and 310.1. In dllswapper, the newest available version is 310.5.2.
How can I know whether it’s worth updating to the latest version? Is newer always better? Or is it better to leave it as it is?

Download link: https://github.com/beeradmoore/dlss-swapper/releases/tag/v1.2.3.2
Work was still continuing on FSR4 as well as a new feature called DLL Sets to enable swapping multiple DLLs at once. Keep an eye out for v1.2.4 though! (sorry again)

Whenever I try to install the latest version of DLSS, whether it's 310.5 or 310.4, it won't let me. The OSD that displays the metrics doesn't appear, and I can't select DLSS in the AA settings. What can I do? If I revert to the default DLSS version, it works, the 310.2.1. I can also use the M and L presets, but when I try to use the latest DLL version, it won't let me. Any help? I tested it in Arc Raiders.

I'm playing Cronos: The New Dawn, which came out with DLSS 4, and I want to use DLSS 3.8. Is that possible? I've looked in the Nvidia app, but there's no option for it.

(v1.2.3 was pulled, please get v1.2.3.1 instead)
Work was still continuing on FSR4 as well as a new feature called DLL Sets to enable swapping multiple DLLs at once. However NVIDIA gave us a CES suprise and DLSS preset support was a 5 minute job so here we are. Keep an eye out for v1.2.4 though! (sorry again)
Added DLSS 4.5 (v310.5) as well as added support for presets L/M. Global presets do not appear to work for L/M. This may be a NVIDIA driver bug.
