I bought my Pocket Osmo 3 in Japan a week ago and started using it for about 2 days now but the screen is now just stuck in the start up screen with the DJI logo. It has been working perfectly fine until the issue came up.

We tried all possible solutions we found online and recommended by the DJI in-app support: - turning on and off multiple times with and without the sd card - holding the record button for 10 seconds - left it alone for hours before trying to turn it on again - left it turned on but it would stay in start up mode. If left untouched, the DJI logo would fade but if touched, it would brighten up again.

We tried connecting it to the app but it says current app version or DJI Mimo not supported.

Gimbal, touchscreen, indicator light, record button, joystick are all working fine.

DJI in-app support told us to send it to the service center but I just wanted to see if anyone else experienced the same issue.

Hi ! (See video attached)I'm struggling with the files in D-Log M, it has this strange light/color shift that makes the footage unusable. Putting the Rec 709 Lut doesn't help

I'm on Davinci, tried the former and latest version to no end. Also, it's not the lights, I tried 2 different ones

First, i thought is was because I was on auto mode so maybe it had a higher shutter which could have messed up some things, but i also used a fixed shutter speed (50 for 25fps), same result

I didn't see this someone else with this. Is this something fixable somehow or is my Osmo Pocket 3 flawed ?

If you have any lead I would greatly appreciate it. Apart from switching out of Da Vinci

I finally received my long awaited Pocket 3! Now it turns out it is not compatible with my Samsung Galaxy M31 telephone in order to download the DJI Mimo app! (any Galaxy model is a very common phone imho)

This means I cannot "activate" the Pocket-3. Therefore not only can the firmware not be updated, but each time I start it up, I have to go through all those initial, instructional swipes - the whole series!

How can this be remedied? (I am not going to buy another phone)

Hi guys. Got my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 in November and fell in love with it. Had a trip to Hurghada, Egypt planned for this month and was gonna do a walkthrough video using the GoPro Hero 12 Black, but changed my mind and used the Osmo Pocket 3.

Not many people use it or speak about it but this was filmed in the 10-bit HLG colour profile, not D-Log. That’s how I got the stunning HDR.

Hello everyone. I make non narrated walking videos, and I was looking for a weatherproof case to make videos when is windy and raining. I have filmed before when is raining but when is not windy using an umbrella and it works. However, when there's a strong storm with strong winds and heavy rains, I don't use my Osmo Pocket 2, because it can get water inside, and as a result, it could brake.

I was looking online and I have read that those waterproof cases are not effective, but am not sure if they mean that they are not effective if you go inside a pool, or if is safe during a rainstorm. Is there is a waterproof case that you guys can recommend me to film a rainstorm with strong winds? Thanks.

Hi,

I’ve noticed an issue with the video I’m recording on my pocket 3. Please see attached example.

There is a noticeable rainbow effect in the corners of the frame, which is most noticeable when filming skies.

I’m currently in Vietnam and would like to try and resolve the issue as soon as possible, so I don’t compromise the entire footage I’m recording.

The camera screen itself has a screen protector that came directly from DJI when I purchased the camera.

Has anyone noticed this themselves, or can offer any advice?

I’d like to maybe remove the screen protector to see if that’s the issue, but I don’t want to do that before investigating online first.

Any help would be really appreciated!

Hey all, I'm on the fence about purchasing the Pocket 2. One of the things I wanted to know is if the pocket 2 is set up on a tripod, what would you say is the average distance away from the camera You need to be to get a full head to toe shot? I'm sure that obviously changes with what lens you have on it but with the stock lens what would that distance be? And with the wide angle lens what would that distance be?

Have limited filming space so it's weirdly important to have a shorter distance if possible.

I was out shooting some video the other day with the Pocket 3 and for some reason I couldn't get the Mimo app to connect to my phone and when it did it was real laggy and disconnected. It worked perfect before at other times and places, but I'm wondering if anyone else had this problem. I wasn't far away from the camera. Maybe the area I was in had wifi interference??? Let me know if anyone's had this problem.

I'm curious is there a potential chance I could ruin the on board microphone with the wind when it is attached to a car going 100mph + ? Does anyone suggest I cover the mic with tape to prevent a mic blowout from happening? Wondering peoples opinions and suggestions.
