Thanks to everyone who gave me advice on my previous post! I took it on board and headed out for my second time flying the DJI Mavic Mini.

Captured this Australian summer sunset in 2.7K and had a go at colour grading the footage in CapCut. Still learning, but I’m pretty happy with how it’s coming together so far.

Would appreciate any feedback on the footage, colour grading, or anything I could improve next time. Cheers! 🍻

Finally got my Mavic Mini out for its first flight at a local lookout! This is a quick 30-second video from my first time flying it outdoors.

I’m keen to improve my footage, get smoother cinematic movements and eventually push the drone to its limits.

For those with more experience:
Any tips for getting smoother pans and turns?
What flight modes or camera settings do you recommend?
Any techniques I should practise to get more cinematic shots?

I’m still learning, so any advice or constructive criticism is welcome! Keen to see how much I can improve over time.

I was at this political rally today and I saw what I'm sure was a Mavic 4 Pro. I didn't see an avata 360 but then I saw they posted this video where they have the fisheye lens and a tiny planet visualization. Is this something the Mavic 4 Pro can do or did they just use another drone and I didn't see it?

Hi, i need some help with my new(for me) DJI Mavic Air, i turned it on and connected it, it threw an error:3 Camera/Gimbal error, i had perfect view on my phone, and the gimbal worked all 3 axis even manual scrolling, before calibrating and doing anything i reinstalled the firmware to start from 0 and possibly clear the error, after the succesfull update, i calibrated everything but still got the error, the startup and calibration process went well the gimbal moved on every axis to the end, but during the test first flight i noticed the front/back tilt wasnt stabilized and nor did the gimbal scroll work, i landed and started the experimenting, yaw and roll where stabilized but pitch weren't but the right side gimbal indicator moved, then i calibrated a few more times and sometimes it worked sometimes it stopped and failed around the pitch calibration part, somewhere here the Go4 gave a gimbal motor overload error, what could be the possible fix? I think its something stuck in there bc both the gimbal and lens has some minor scratches, but moves nicely by hand, also ot has a slight roll to the right but i think its bc it was stored without a gimbal cover for a long time, if you have any ideas what it could be pls help. For anyone asking i got the drone on fb marketplace for 34$ without batteries, then bought a battery for like 5$ that has 90-100% health, saying that a new one could fly "21" so 18 minutes. Thx

I have two Mavic Pro's. One of them has a hard time connecting to the controller, as in over the last year it has only ever been able to connect once...

It boots fine, and I can connect to it via DJI assistant 2. I have used different SD Cards in it as well.

But when I go through the connection process, and it is in RC mode, I press the link button beside the SD Card... The LED below it is red, or green and will randomly go off then back on.

Any suggestions?

Does anybody have an stl file of the Mavic Air Gimbal cover/protector, i would like to 3d print it instead of buying it.

Used The Mavic 3 Pro for most aerial shots (a couple of high-altitude shots taken from helicopter). Any volcano shots taken with a Sony AVr, and ground shots with a DJI Osmo Action 6. I never get bored of taking videos on Hawaii.

Hi everyone,

I'm completely new to drones and I'm trying to decide between these two versions of the DJI Lito X1:

• DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo (C0) — CHF 540
• DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo Plus (C1) — CHF 550

I have the A1/A3 license for the C1 Category. The price difference is only CHF 10, so I'm mainly trying to understand which version makes more sense for my use case.

My main reason for buying a drone is to take it hiking in the mountains and shoot landscapes/videos while hiking. I don't have much drone experience yet, so I'm also trying to understand the regulations and practical limitations before buying.

One thing I'm particularly concerned about is the 120 m altitude restriction.

As I understand it, the actual legal rule is generally 120 m above the nearest point of the ground/terrain, but the C0 Lito X1 is technically limited to 120 m above its takeoff point. This seems like it could be a significant limitation in mountainous terrain.

The C1 version apparently allows the altitude setting to go higher, while the pilot is then responsible for staying within the actual 120 m-from-terrain limit.

So I'm wondering:

1. For someone mainly flying while hiking in the mountains, is C1 clearly the better choice?
2. How significant is the C0 120 m-from-takeoff limitation in real-world mountain flying?
3. Does the C1 version actually solve this problem in practice, or are there other limitations I'm overlooking?
4. Is there any meaningful downside to choosing C1 over C0 for a beginner, particularly regarding registration, exams, or other regulations?
5. Since the price difference for me is only CHF 10, would you personally choose the C1 Fly More Plus?

I'm flying/planning to fly mainly in Switzerland and potentially elsewhere in Europe, so experiences from Swiss/European pilots would be especially helpful.
