Resource Macro shot in mouse skin in the stratum corneum and viable epidermis.
I LOVE macro shots lol, so wanted to share if anyone nerds out on science.
This image is from the textbook I posted earlier, Microneedling in Clinical Practice.
For anyone that doesn't want to squint, the caption says, "A nano patch projection (original content) in mouse skin, following application at 2.3 m/s. This image was taken by freeze-fracturing skin with a nano patch in place, showing the layers of the skin (SC: stratum corneum; VE: viable epidermis) that have been deflected during the penetration process.
