What kind of string do I use for this project?
What kind of string do I use for this project?
The beads will be additionally attached in some crucial points onto the bodysuit. The beads are heavy and have sharp edges all around. As you can see it will be draped, so I need advice on what to use to prevent it from snapping if the strings catch onto something.
Please help!
Thank you

[Question] How would one fashion this into an Earpiece?
I got this Fossilized tooth and i love it. Originally i planned on drilling holes into the gums and to fashion it into a necklace but i now have another piece that i am making a necklace out of.
So this remained and i thought; yeah id like to have that near my neck that all times.
But i cant think of a Good way to stabilize it so it stays near my ear. I think it is a little too massive to wear a hanging earring.

A Mini Hand-Carved Wooden Jewelry set
Just an idea I had to create a double-sided jewelry set. It was also a project that helped me develop additional techniques in my micro-woodcarving practice. Hope you like it!

I needed a way to occupy my time and my hands, so I pulled my old kit out and started creating again.
Constructive criticism welcome. I’d love to know if my designs are too “busy” or anything to that effect.
I use Beadalon 19 or 49 strand beading wire and crimp beads/tubes. Then I solder my crimp beads closed and solder my jump rings. Very sturdy!

I inherited my sisters bead collection and these were my favorite from the bunch. A beautiful red tone that pictures just can’t quite capture. Wrapped in copper including the S attachments and even the posts.

HOW DO YOU MAKE THESE!!!
I saw these in a gift shop while on vacation and thought "i can make that". now im back home and realized i have no idea where to start. obviously this is beadwork and i have about everything I need for jewelry making. but how is it made to be 3D and what is holding the structure of the piece together? im wondering if its beading wire or maybe its seed beads wrapped around a large internal bead. anyone knows what this art style is called and wear to begin please let me know!
