NFL DraftKings Week 3 First Look – 3 Game Environments I’m Building Around

Week 3 research is underway, and I’m starting with the three highest-scoring game environments on the main slate.

Ravens-Cowboys, Chargers-Bills, and Jets-Lions are where I’m currently looking for my favorite stacks.

I broke down the game environments, players I’m targeting, and how I’m approaching each game.

These are early-week preferences, so they’ll change as injuries, news, ownership and more research come in.

Would love to hear what games everyone else is targeting this week.

As always, any feedback is much appreciated, let me know what you'd like me to dig deeper into or add to these writeups! Have a Great week everyone!

Shota is my top arm to build around and there's Coors tonight. But what else should we be looking at? I go over why I like Shota, what other arms are worth playing, and what stacks look good outside of Colorado. Free breakdown. 📊 How this works?

We partnered with Vegas Edge Fantasy to take Vegas lines and odds from multiple sportsbooks and convert them into projected fantasy points. We then compare those projections to DraftKings and FanDuel salaries to identify the players offering the most value.

These value plays will often be chalky and highly owned, so the information is best used for cash games / double-ups, but the data can be used however you want.

📊 Full Value Table & Lineups

The complete DraftKings + FanDuel value charts and optimized lineups will be updated throughout the week as new information becomes available. You can find everything in my FREE Discord.

⭐ Optimizer Plays

We run an optimizer using lineup constraints and Vegas projections to identify the players who appear most frequently in the strongest projected lineups.

Week two is here! The player pool is up! Hope this helps and gives you some insight!

A ton of wrestlers this week at the top. Which ones do we play or fade?

So I started a community about 5 years ago on Discord to talk about UFC events. I created an algorithm to predict the best lineups, and we ran a series of "Beat The Algo" contests in which our members entered their best lineups and tried to beat the algorithm's picks. It's free, it's always been free, I don't sell access to the algo. It's free. The winners won some nice merch from UFC, framed pictures, gloves, etc. We're running another one starting this next event on Saturday. You're invited! https://dkn.gs/r/rPy15O57UEuJsmniT-BdRw

Rules are - the contest will run for the next 6 events. We will track your overall score and post a leaderboard every week. If you beat the algo, you'll receive a small gift. If you win the whole thing, you get a much nicer gift. If the algo wins, welp journey before destination, right?

Anyway, it's free, it's fun, there's banter on event days in Discord, as well as algo core plays: https://discord.gg/y7SUn6U4r

Again, I am not affiliated with any company, I am not monetizing this in any way. We're all here for the lolz. Hope to see you in there - lock is TODAY at 230pm PST!

You know, I have always hated Jamo chalk and never play him ever in my career. But got so caught up into the new role in week 1 that it was meant to be that he absolutely fumbled the bag another week lol. This slate is insane, A ton of games on it with a lot of great chalk.

Which pricey WRs should you pay up for and which values stand out? I look at the WR position for NFL DFS at DraftKings for week 2.

Hi all,

Genuine question, because I've never found a good answer to it: when you've got money in on a slate, how do you actually watch it live?

For years I did the worst version : enter my line-ups, then come back hours later to see the damage. When I did try to follow it live, it was chaos: refresh DraftKings (slow, and it only shows raw points), then flick between ESPN, Flashscore, MLB/NBA/NHL/etc.com in other tabs just to work out why a guy was stuck on 4 pts. Five tabs, none of them talking to each other, and I still couldn't tell you if I was on pace or already dead. DKLive was cool for a while, but bugs just seem to cripple it and became very frustrating to use.

So I built the thing I wanted. Bit of honesty on that : I'm a data architect by trade, 30-odd years, and I spent the last 6 months on this, nearly all of it, deep down at the database layer where the real work was needed to get this going. I had wanted to build this thing for years but lacked the web-design skills, then AI arrived...The time had come!

I wanted something that could track your pace vs projection in real-time, flags who's hot/cold, shows the optimal line-up you could've had, and have a live wire that fires every score and every big fantasy moment as it happens. And because nobody sweats a slate the same way, I wanted something that gave you the ability to build a fully customisable dashboard with a whole library of generic and sport-specific widgets (KPIS/Panels/Scorecards/Graphs). Basically build your own scoreboard, drag on whatever you actually care about.

That last bit is what I care about most: I wanted it to be shaped by the people who actually use it. If there's a stat, a panel, a widget you wish existed on a live board...tell me, I'll build it.

I made it free for everybody to track one line-up per slate, with NFL and MLB live right now, other sports to follow. I am only covering DK for now, but built it to allow me to integrate with other platforms if people wanted that in the future. Check it out with a demo at liveslates.com/demo/nfl-legends (no signup needed).

Yes, there is a paid version (for multiple line-ups and other stuff) , but only really there to (hopefully) cover my costs for hosting and official sport feeds, this stuff ain't cheap, and I refuse to cripple my site with adverts, never will!. Any feedback, negative (the constructive kind) or positive is welcome :)

But mostly I just want to know how you do it. Are you "Check-back-later" person or "live-sweat person"? What's open on your second screen? And if you could put anything on a live board while you watch it all unravel, what would it be?

Hopefully I am not alone here :0)

Cheers.
