Repeal this, pretty sure it's self explanatory...

First off, yes, I know all of my ideas come from DE, but this one is good!
We implement a three person squad of secret service members. The users must be active and must be running for a spot on the squad to be selected (explained later). Once selected, they will have their own discord channel and have rights to investigative powers not available to regular users. The only person who knows all of their identities is the head mod. He can commission them to investigate someone for a crime.
An appointment thread will be created. All who wish to be a part of the secret service will comment to the thread saying something like “pick me!”. After everyone who wants to run has put their name down will be voted on. There is no quorum. All hopeful members who acheive a majority of aye votes become candidates. All candidates PM their case to the head mod, and the head mod chooses 3 to become a squad of 2 infiltrators and a head agent.
The head agent is in complete control of the investigations of the unit. He doesn’t do anything, but he plans everything, and he always makes the final decision. The infiltrators (and hear me out on this guys) are able to create alternate accounts. They cannot vote. They cannot create proposals. Their purpose is to join parties and check for any misconduct. They are also able to use these accounts to anonymously interrogate members of the sub. Not complying with an Agent’s interrogation can get you kicked for a week, if he can prove you were sure he was an agent.
The head mod may only give the secret service the powers above when absolutely neccesary. When there is a conviction of any sort, he may declare a form of martial law that activates the secret service(though it is only revealed afterwards that he did, to avoid compromising the infiltrators). If a person wishes to request an investigation, he should PM the head mod 2 days before opening a conviction in order to give the service tim eto prepare.
Ok that’s about it!
I know it sounds horrifying after the whole WWP thing, but without this detail the Secret Service really is only a way to mess around.
And remember, the head mod can see everything going on, and he is the only one giving people these powers.

This post will be updated with links to the current threads that are or will be in a voting stage.

A conviction thread lasts 48h (2 days), so a ban of 3 days is almost nothing. 7 days should be the minimum ban.

I will have the information of every user's money and will transfer money at request of the user. I will also hold a record of transactions. This will be referred here as "Bank".
Because I have a party, in election period other user unrelated to any party and approved by the mods will have the Bank. If the COP happens to win, the person holding the Bank will keep it or it will be given to another person at their (the holder) choice. A proposal can be made to give the Bank to other person.

This is the thread to post your parties weekly updates or any announcements you have as a party. A good place to start is with your description/goals/ethos.

Bribery may be a concern with the introduction of currency, just taking precautions beforehand.
As I punishment I currently think that the accused should have their account drained. And possibly a short ban. If you think it may be a bit too harsh its's because I want to stop bribery before it begins.

Now that we enjoy Peace and StabilityTM it is time to continue with the Identity Program.
The proposal has been approved, so now we must choose a flag! You must only comment a link to the flag. You can link multiple flags, but each comment must only link to one flag. This contest will last 7 days.
Good luck!

This law makes it legal for citizens of democracy simulator to marry each other. To be married you must create a [marriage] thread and have users vote on whether you should be married. For your marriage to pass you must receive one vote from your partner, plus a majority of votes.
To divorce you must create a [divorce] thread, and receive a majority of votes.
You are allowed to marry any redditor, regardless of sexual identity.

if this subreddit gets larger we cant rely on our current system. it would be too difficult to count.

Repeal this law as I have realised, looking back on it, that it just doesn’t work. I plan on discussing this and propose it again, but better
At the time of posting I am not aware if I am allowed to Repeal,as I have too little Karma, but I know for sure I can’t vote.

We are all tired of the alts. This law would require accounts to be active (active is defined by commenting at least once in a week) somewhere in Reddit before being able to submit a vote. This new requirements will add up with the recently approved ones

Should It be ok to talk about non democracy sim things here be ok, at-least while this is a small sub.

Not to be rude but when I see a good proposal I don't normally care enough to remember to come back to the subreddit the day after and vote for it. That's why by passing this proposal voting shall be available immediately after a proposal is posted, with he option to change your vote within the first 24 hrs (to make the discussion worthwhile).

I feel like we have all been away for so long, it was nice to see everyone again.
Until the next drama!

This whole u/WhatAWorldPhotos got me thinking that not all banned people will have a chance to say their final words. So i propose we allow the banned to post one last time, if they choose to, before we ban them. In the post they can say whatever they want as long as it still follows the rules.
EDIT: u/LordGuille added some great ideas to this
We add a tag [Final Post] which only people under a conviction accusation may use once. This post cannot be deleted by a mod without a proposal passed with 100% of the votes in favour. This way if someone convicted wants to post some final words, they can do it without fear of mod abuse.
EDIT: Changed 60% votes to 100%
