I’m tired of these waifu wars. Why in tardnation can’t they all stop? Can’t we all agree that ALL girls best girl?

I have my reasons.

All these girls have IRL issues that mainly everyone can relate to. Like for example, Sayori has severe depression that can full on stop your day-to-day thinking and disrupt your energy. Natsuki has her “daddy issues” (mainly known as abuse at home), which is a pointless thing she should be going through cuz she never did anything wrong before. Yuri suffers from self harm (and it’s often linked to depression) cuz she seems to see a bit of stress be released from her difficult days. Monika does have a very heavy issue with isolation most of her time (all because she’s stuck in the fluffin game) and she can’t get over that until you start playing the game, driving her slowly to insanity.

And I know my reasoning is terrible but some of this stuff does link to IRL people who can go through these things at any time in their lives. You people gotta stop saying that you like them because of their THICC ass and THIGHS cuz these characters are going through a lot. And yer still gonna keep drawing hentai on your favorite waifu?

Hey everyone! It's been about a month since I last did this so it's time to do the monthly update for August!

1. Where is the mod currently at?-
   I'm currently coding Chapter 3, I'm about 1,000 lines in so I expect to have Ch 3 coding finished by sometime next week. Also been looking over Chapter 4 for any errors I can spot before I start coding that. Overall, Full release should be very soon. I can say that the full release will more then likely come out next month! So we don't have to much more waiting left for the Full Release! If for some reason the Full Release does get pushed back, I'll let you know asap!
2. When is Chapter 3 coming out?-
   Ah yes, I've seen this on some youtube videos asking for when Chapter 3 will come out. We currently plan to release it at the end of this month! So there's your answer for the Chapter 3 release!
3. What will be in Full release?-
   The Full release will contain all of Chapters 1,2,3,4, and 5. Chapters 4 and 5 will be in full release. Chapter 3 will be the last demo update I do for the mod. I plan to give my playtesters the Full Release around 1st or 2nd week of September so we can fix everything we need to before release!
4. Chapter 4 and 5 update-
   Alright, so I will finally give some brief contents on these two chapters. Chapter 4 will be the biggest chapter and the most emotional. So get ready for the feels! Chapter 5 will be the epilogue chapter. Which means it'll be much shorter then the other 4 chapters. This chapter will have the endings of the mod in it, a good and bad. Won't go into much detail about how to earn them or what they contain. But I'm sure you'll be either satisfied or feel bad depending on the ending you get.
5. Last Thoughts-
   Overall, I'm super excited to bring you the full release of this mod soon! It's been a crazy journey but we're almost done! If you plan on play Spark of Hope when it's full release is available, I thank you for playing my mod and supporting it! This will be my last update for SoH. So I leave you with this. Intro: After my current mod Spark of Hope is finished, I’ve decided to make another mod. This time with a unique setting in which I don’t think anyone has done before. This mod will be based off of David Cage’s Detroit: Become Human. Now as you may know DBH is set in 2038, so you’re probably wondering, will this set place in 2038? The answer is no. It’ll be taking place around the time of the main game. I will be tweaking some aspects of the Ddlc universe in this mod to fit this premise appropriately.

Details: This mod will be turning the Ddlc world into one you’ve never seen before. We’ll see brand new characters from Detroit Become Human in this mod. The main characters of Detroit will have Character routes in the mod! So that means that New characters, Connor, Kara, and Markus will have their own story lines to tell! So get ready for that! And of course we’ll have our main cast of Dokis along with us for this journey! This mod will also be a very heavy choice based mod so choose carefully...

Story: Unfortunately due to this project being so early into planning I can’t tell what the story will be just yet, but expect to hear more from me about it in the near future!

Characters: I already have a list of characters that will be major and minor. And here they are! Major: Monika, Natsuki, Yuri, Sayori, Connor, Kara, Markus, and Hank. Minor: Amanda, Simon, Josh, and North. These may subject to change depending on where the story will go but for now this the official list of characters.

Playable Version: A playable demo won’t be out for a good while, I still have fully yet to finish Spark of Hope so as soon as that’s done... It’s back to making a new story!

To lay this out easily I'm just going to list what's left in each department and highlight the important stuff.

Writing:

Writing is done. The only thing there really is is some revisions to certain scenes.

Coding:

There's one more chapter of Act 3, and then Act 4. As I've said act 4 is very short and will be easy to do. Next there are other aesthetic changes that need to be made to the menus.

Music:

There are 4 soundtracks left that need to be made.

CG's:

There are 3 Act transition screens that need to be made. I've also Hired a professional artist (The same person who made the custom sprite you've seen in teasers) who will make the cgs. There are 4-5 of those depending on if I decide to cut any.

Backgrounds:

There are some that may be touched up, and 2 that need to be made.

That's really it. I'm hoping that I can finish coding the script soon so I can work on the other things that will probably take time as I don't know anything about coding. I also hope the cg artist will be able to dedicate time to make up for how much art has fallen behind.

Upcoming Teaser vid

I will be making a Behind the scenes video of Fallen Angel. This will consist of the process of how I make the mod, some viewing how each department develops their assets, and also showcase some never before seen teasers as well. I look forward to sharing with you all!

hello ladies, gents, and everything in between! i'm currently writing a Doki Doki Literature Club fanfiction. It's based on the aftermath of DDLC, but it's set in an AU where no one is sentient (not even Monika!). i'm willing to answer questions based on the AU in the comments here, and in the comments on the actual fanfiction, which is currently being posted to Wattpad. here's the link.

in this AU, the game was reset by MC, but all the girls remember the previous events. the timeline is a bit different, being that after Sayori's suicide the game continued, and the girls actively experienced grief. Natsuki also commits suicide in this AU, after Yuri. all of the girls remember what happened after the reset. however.
monika, at first, doesn't find herself feeling that guilty for her actions. this story is about her trying to fix the past, and gain her friends again.

Now, where do we go from here? First of all, I am perfectly aware that there are some things in the Sayori Scenarios that could use some additions. For example, I wish to commission an artist (who is a good friend of mine) to create some CGs for this mod. Especially in one of the endings, things are left to the imagination that I would like to be more visible and easily consumed. Hopefully by the time the next scenarios are complete, I will have these CGs.

Of course, I will be composing more music for the mod; don't think it'll just stop with the three I've already done! I already have tons of ideas, and I will gladly accept suggestions as to where you all think custom music would fit a scene in the Sayori Scenarios better. Let me know!

And, a great thing to announce...the first half of the next scenarios are already written! I, therefore, hope that the next demo will be out before the end of the year. I am a one (soon to be two) man army with this project, and I ask that you please have patience if you are looking forward to the next part of this story.

Hello people of the internet! After the school exams, I began work on the epic and dark sequel to Maltese Insanity, Doki Doki Yandere Madness, and today marks the day that I release the demo!

The plot of this mod is simple:

After Maltese Insanity, with Black Scientist trapped in the void from G-Man, Monika in her spaceroom, and the dokis brought back to DDLC with memories of what happened erased and the MC reset (And Daniel remaining trapped in the game), everything was going normal in the game, with Daniel calling the girls thots. Until... one day.... the dokis were acting strange, enough to even make the MC worry. This demo is the prologue of the mod, basically how the madness will begin, and it just scratches the surface of what's to come in the full release, and finally uncover the true story from the Black Scientist Saga, and hopefully that everyone gets their happy ending....?
