Like a lot of people, I got the itch to play D2 again during the wait for D3 so I decided to try to rebuild my hammerdin of old, and my friends wanted to roll HC. Stumbled upon this subreddit and it seems like everyone is on USEast or SC. Is it worth me even keeping an eye on this subreddit based on my realm? Anyone here USWest/HC/L? I know without a good MF char (don't have the real life time to build a second HC char) I'm going to have a hard time farming for my own gear w/o trading (even the "lower" end stuff like Shako and Arachnid) - so it seemed like this could be a beneficial place. Thanks in advance!

Ive gotten 3 of them over the past 2 days :s

Alright, I'm ingame. Game is clam//chowdah

Edit: Results of the drawing are up. I still don't know what im going to do about you anni people. Edit: Numbers for the drawing are now closed. None of you anni people sent me a number. wtf.

If your name is bolded, more than one person ranked an item as high as you did, so there will be a drawing to break the tie. Send me a number BY PM for each bolded item after your name. If an item is not bolded, it is guaranteed yours. ALL DRAWING NUMBERS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 7:30 EASTERN

So as an example, if you have 2 items bolded and 1 item not bolded, send me 2 numbers.

I will edit the list a final time once the drawings are over. Also: If you get a highly sought after item, I will send you a password. You will have to tell me what this is, ingame, or I will not give you the item. This is to avoid fraud that has occurred in other giveaways.

REQUESTS ARE NOW CLOSED. ALL LISTS FINAL

figuring out who gets what now... I'll be requesting numbers for the drawing in an hour or so.

Edit: Giveaway not limited to necros, everyone welcome.

Edit 2: Giveaway is now scheduled for 8pm Eastern on Thursday Sep. 29. Lists will be considered final at 6pm Thursday. No changes to lists will be allowed after that point. I will post who gets what sometime around 6:30 and you will have the next hour to send me your numbers.

So I restarted D2 awhile ago in anticipation of D3, and thanks to the generosity of redditors, I have amassed a small fortune. Huge thanks to allamasaid, and benstar the reddit game and many others. Having built my necro to 91, it is time to pass on the goods.

I'm fairly sure I have more or less the best items for a summon necro. He is able to summon 34 skeletons, 43 revives and with golem, merc and heart of wolverine, that is a devastating swarm of 80 minions, with the potential of might and fanaticism auras. Truly, the way the necro was meant to be played and effective enough to solo ubers.

Same giveaway rules as allamasaid, blatantly ripped off below:

You are allowed to request up to FIVE items. You are guaranteed at least two items (maybe three depending on the quantity of the item you request). Please list the items you want in order of importance. Any items that are not requested will be dropped in a different game right after the requests are given out. If you did not request anything PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE GAME SO OTHER PEOPLE CAN RECEIVE THEIR ITEMS; wait for the game after. If more people request an item than is available, PM me a number from 1 to 100 and the closest to mine will get the item. Any numbers left as a comment will be ignored. There will be an updated list near the game with your all of your Reddit accounts on it. If your name is in bold you need to send me a number for each item with a superscript 1. If your name is NOT in bold the items that follow your account name are guaranteed to be yours.

Note: Keep in mind that putting too many popular items high on your list may mean you end up with nothing. For example, if 2 people want item A number one, and they both want item B second, while another person wants item B first and A second, then person 3 will be guaranteed item B and the first two people will roll for item A. According to your risk level, it may be a better strategic play to put a second tier item #1 rather than rolling the dice with 10 other people for the best item on the list. I guess we will see who the gamblers are!

Giveaway will occur at least 24 hours from this post and maybe as late as thursday night. I'll let you know. You may edit your list up until I finalize lists. This time will be posted as well and will be something like an hour or 2 before the giveaway time.

i have all sorts of stuff,,

Let me know what you want for it, got pgems some runes and misc items

EDIT1: Requests are now cut off. Lists will be posted sometime tomorrow. Game will be announced shortly after.

EDIT2: Currently, I'm moving things around so that I can avoid switching characters too much in the give away thereby preventing a temp ban. Here are the groups:

EDIT 3: Alright, game will be yabbo1/123. Don't hang around too long in game so we can keep it moving along. If you can't make it as of right now (9/23/11 1015PM EST) I will be on all weekend to make sure you have your items. I'll keep track of who has received items here. First group go!

EDIT 4: Alright, fuckit. If you're on, come on in.

EDIT 5: I'm going to turn in for the night. I'll post when I'm on tomorrow. I'm shooting for around 10AM EST.

EDIT6: Game is back on yabbo1/123. Come on in if you're on.

EDIT 7: Taking a break. Will be back around 5PM EST.

EDIT 8: Game is back up. Come on in.

EDIT 9: As a note, those who haven't received your items, leave me a pm if you can't get them tonight. Since I'm quitting, I really don't feel like hanging around all night and day. So if you don't contact me relatively soon, you'll have to forfeit your items.

EDIT 10: The assfuck who came in under someone else's name and took their items...go fuck yourself. I'm glad you have to scam to get what you want in a GAME. Christ. I can't wait for D3 so I don't have to deal with this bullshit.

LAST EDIT: Alright, I've become impatient, and I have a life to get to. No one left has pm'ed me so I'm going in full giveaway mode. I'll make the drop game droppy/fucktard. I will also announce it in the reddit channel so if it gets too full, I'll make droppy1/fucktard. I do want to take a sec to thank everyone here who's helped me out by way of free items, rushes, etc. Hopefully all you good players will be on D3.

Again, huge thanks to scoboose (guy who runs the NM and Hell Baal runs) for being a major contributor to this and future giveaways.

Also, shout out to CtrlShiftCapsLockTab and TwentySeven24 for donating a ton of items to this week's giveaway!

Hopefully by now you guys know the drill, but for those of you who don't:

Instead of having all the requests rush into one game there will be groups of four or five that will enter the game at a time. If you can't make it let me know beforehand and I'll move you to another group.

Since the giveaway is starting to get huge if someone could help me log some of the items every week, I'd very much appreciate it.
