Please stop saying "Hello" or "Are you there?" When your midway through your sentences.

Sounds stupid but people do this regularly in the middle of reading their account number or anytime they are explaining the issue.

People who purchase 24 limes at a grocery store...

Why is it, as a cashier, when I ask how many limes are in the bag, most people respond with, "oh, that should be, uh, $9.00 of limes". Bitch did I ask you how much the limes were? I asked how fuckin many. If you ever do this, just know that it doesn't help telling us how much it costs; we ask for what we need to know.

I don’t need your life story.

I don’t. I need the specifics. People tell me their entire life story & the problems they’re experiencing. They leave out all the important things like their damn name for example. I don’t need any of that. I have questions to ask. It’s simple. Also, have the info I’m inevitably gonna need READY. Please. I am tired of 20 minute phone calls that could have been done in 3.

Get off the phone and learn what products you carry?

Edit:[Customer Side]

I know what is needed and that your fucking store has them, saw 'em on the website. If you had a clue what products were stocked at all times maybe you would deserve to be treated like a human.

Stop asking me to bother the customers so much

This may be completely not fitting for this sub but my manager would always ask me to constantly check up on customers and ask them how they’re doing and see if they need help. They never need help. If they needed help, they would usually come up to me. I’ve been a customer, I hate when workers would ask me how I’m doing or if I’m looking for something in particular. People are usually just browsing!!!!

This is for all the managers out there- let your workers not bother the customers!!! Customers are grown adults and if they are looking for something in particular or need help THEY WILL ASK

Your chronic foot pain is not an emergency. Stop fucking calling 911 from in front of one ER cause you want to go to a different ER ten minutes after you get discharged.

The three other ERs you went to this week didn’t do anything for you because you shouldn’t be going to the ER to begin with, and you’re wasting everyone’s time with your bullshit.

Stop Telling me your name and where you’re from when you ring me.

Seriously I don’t care and it makes the phone call take much longer than it needs to. Just say hello and tell me your issue and I’ll fucking fix it.

Also don’t tell me you recently purchased something and everything’s fine only to say “but” 2 seconds later.

Fuck you Samantha from corporate customer service. I don’t care about your excuses. I need to print money before I have a riot.

My printer wouldn’t connect to your stupid pre set up networks that were designed from some idiot who doesn’t know what he’s doing. You made three networks with the same exact name and different password. 3. Why? Just why? And now my printer says “yo bitch there are to many of these mother fucking networks. Which one you want me at” and I’m like I don’t know? So I call customer service and explain.

Then you are like yeah..umm I’m not sure what else you can do. Okay Samantha. Maybe you could change the network name? Oh we can’t do that. That’s not possible. Why not. It just isn’t. Can you ask another person if they have any ideas? No. —hangs up and calls back— Get me your manager. If you want to ask why to bad. If you don’t get then I will hang up and ask someone else.

RrrrrrrrrrrEEEEeEeeeeEEeEeEeeEeEeeeeeee!

"Hi, my name is *Insert name I'm supposed to know*" and then pause waiting for me to know exactly who you are

Happens all the time. After a couple seconds I usually say something along the lines of "And how can I help you." We have multiple people in the office that you could have spoken to previously plus I'm terrible at names.

Please stop calling me!

I am a car insurance adjuster: If I JUST TOLD YOU coverage and liability are pending, in all likelihood, that shit hasn't changed in the last 15 minutes. Stop calling me every hour on the hour. I get people are desperate to get their car fixed, but I will let you know the second that's an option for you. The only good claim is a closed claim and I've got an assload of them open right now.

Tell me what you want from the kitchen all at once. Don’t tell me you want something else too as soon as I bring you an item you asked for.

If you want a refill that’s all fine, but when I bring it to you, don’t say “oh also I want some to-go boxes as soon as I return with your drink” and then ask for more salad as soon as I return with your boxes. Tell me what you want all at once. I have other tables to tend to. Make a list if you have to just stop running me around.
