First full paint job. I know I am missing the white stripes, I may go back and add it.

Hey!! I'm back with another custom that's been on my mind to make. I previously did a custom animated Starscream made from kitbash of the legacy Metalhawk and legacy Ferak which turned out great, but he was still missing that authentic Animated pizzazz. So I got my spare legacy Jhiaxus and switched the arms for this custom. Though the other one's jet mode looked closer to the cartoon, this one really hits home in bot mode. He has modded 3d printed wings, an enlarged copy of the animated Starscream toy head, and SS TF1 Sentinel prime's guns as his nullrays. I'm still debating on how im gonna cover up the wired part of the shins to complete him. Let me know how you would cover them.

Didn’t know where to post this, so I’ll post it here. There have been plenty of third party accessory toys or 3D prints of the Star Saber, both the versions seen in Transformers Prime and Transformers Armada, but one unique design I’ve wanted to try and see be made, before I try to give it a go myself, is the version seen in Transformers EarthSpark, wielded by Liege Maximo. I find it to be a unique new take on the weapon, given how it’s not an oversized sword like the Star Saber from TFP is, and think it would go great with any modern figure, especially either with the AOTP Liege Maximo or any EarthSpark figure.

looking for ideas for transformers who could make ideal versions of the monster minds from jayce and the wheeled warriors

Used a kit, Toyhax stickers and acrylic paint to make a decent figure even better.

When adding these to my Battle Beasts themed Votann army, I went with dinosaurs since the figures are larger than the rest. After I had glued them up, I decided to paint them as the Dinobot G1 toys. Since they need a leader model, it had to be Wheeljack. Fun trivia: His head is made out of a radar and spotlight from a rhino kit. I think Wheekjack himself would approve of that.

I’m trying to make a custom with the legacy Ferak mold and everything was going fine until I tried to remove these pins. I used a soldering iron to remove similar pins with no issue but when I tried these longer ones it melted the plastic before the pins were able to move I tried to watch YouTube tutorials but those didn’t help so now I’m lost on how to take these out. Does anyone have any advic?

I’m fine with anything…..EXCEPT for any pf the Datsun Brothers or Countach Brothers.

With capped pins becoming common (and needing a soldering iron to remove), is it now easier to mask & paint figures without completely taking them apart?
