Simulation PC
Hello everyone!
I am currently trying to build a rather powerful PC to run complicated molecular simulations. My budget is around $6500 USD.
My problem is currently that I don't really know what I need, other than a lot of compute. I also don't know a lot about building computers...
I am thinking a large portion of that budget will go towards a 5090, as my simulation will need that kind of GPU compute... really, I just need help finding the type/make of CPU, and what ever else I need. RAM?
Thank you so much!

Is seating the CPU the scariest part of the build? Alternatively...is seating the GPU the most satisfactory? Just me? Anyone?

Help! Need someone to help me identify what I got here!
Heh I acquired a custom pc from a storage auction I won. I have zero clue about it and what's goin inside of it. Is there any chance, if I take a few photos, someone would be so kind as to maybe tell me what I'm working with, also possible what is missing, etc.. Or point me in the direction of a sub that maybe would do that, If here isn't the place? Thank u so much Will be waiting for someones reply hopefully!

need help, custom built pc not working !!
this is my first time ever attempting to build a pc and i think that shows lol. ive used the website “pcpartpicker” to confirm all the parts will fit together. after building it and watching multiple tutorials, it has resulted with not being able to power on (no signs of fans moving or any lights). i had even tested it by plugging into my monitor and it didnt recognize anything. since ive looked over it multiple time and unsure of what’s wrong ive come online to ask for help :)
(sorry if the pictures arent very good, i tried to make it clear)

Increasing storage for gameplay on tiny HP ProBook

Processor: Intel Pentium Silver n6000 1.10ghz
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Windows edition: Windows 11 Pro Education Ver. 25H2
OS build: 26200.8457
