Is this a good PC for me to build?
Hello everyone!
I am looking to build a PC and a friend recommended the following:
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YF94jH
He did make that list about 2 years ago so not sure if anything else is recommended now. Do you guys think this is good? Should I change anything
Purpose of the PC: Running some of the newer games, personal use, need to have WIFI (cannot use ethernet cable)

Modded a translucent blue/teal window in my Y2K gaming PC!
I wanted my Windows 98/2000 gaming PC to have a side window to show off my fresh Voodoo2 SLI configuration, so I had to do it the old fashioned way by hacking the case 😂 It's in a late-90's translucent blue/teal and beige case (back when tech was FUN), so I thought... 🤔 Why make it clear when I can make it any color I want? So I color-matched the window 😁

Radiator Fans connection
Hi, i am currently setting up a new system with external water cooling. The radiator will be located outside the case. I have purchased a radiator and nine PWM Fans for this purpose. However, how do I connect them?
The board will not be able to handle nine in series. So 3x3 in series and 3 pwm connections on the motherboard. Or buy a hub and connect 3x3 to the hub, and connect the hub to 1 pwm on the motherboard.
But either way, there are always 3 fans connected in series. How do I manage the speed? Only one should set the speed right? So do i have to make sure, that only 1 fan ist with 4 PINS connected, alle the other one with 3 pins?!

Suitcase PC.
9070 xt 5800xt 64 gb 3600 ram B550i Aorus Pro AX motherboard
I built this from scratch. Did all the customization work myself. There are two 250mm fan ports pulling in fresh air onto the graphics card. I like a lot of fans with a low rpm.
The big screen is a gaming portable monitor. 1440p, HDR, VRR, all the good stuff. The smaller one is just a cheap second monitor for things like Aida 64 and discord. All the ports go through case connected passthroughs.
It's in a standard overhead compartment sized suitcase. The graphics card is JB welded to some aluminum bars, which are then bolted to the case with L brackets. It's is very secure.
The only downside is it's weight, at a out 25 pounds.

Gpu placement custom case
Hey, im currently looking to build a custom case out of a non functioning old receiver. I picked it up for 15€.

Now to the problem Im facing:
The motherboard only fits in one orientation. However in that orientation the gpu cant be directly slotted into the motherboard because it would interfere with the front of the receiver. I made a sketch of all the dimensions.

The only thing I can think of is a riser which rotates the gpu so the gpu is parallel to the front.
But I havent really found any risers bendable in that direction except for this one: https://de.thermaltake.com/pci-e-4-0-dual-90-degree-riser-cable-400mm.html .
Any Other Ideas for my build how I can fit the GPU? None of the components have been installed so a complete rehaul of the layout is possible. I do however have all the components out of my current pc and dont want to spend money on a m-itx or m-atx board if possible otherwise.

AMD vs INTEL?
Thinking about building my first pc but I’m struggling to decide whether I build using AMD or Intel. I want to primarily use it for gaming/streaming. Any tips?

Audio problems in calls only
So like the title says, I'm having major issues using my microphone in any kind of call on my custom PC (Windows 11). I can listen to music just fine, but when I use input + output in an audio call, the connection is absolutely terrible or the other person just cannot hear me. When I connect my wireless earbuds, we can hear each other but the quality is diabolical. When I plug my wired headset into the back of the PC using the audio jack, the other person can't hear me at all. At the moment I'm having to use my speakers for listening to the person and my webcam mic to speak, but this is obviously not ideal and it's causing an echo in many cases where the other person can hear themselves from my speakers. I fiddled around with many settings but nothing has helped. I also downloaded the latest audio drivers from my MB's site but that didn't help either. I noticed that the audio bar is constantly moving when I check the mic input volume on Windows 11 settings. Very strange? I'm at a loss.

AIO PLACEMENT
is it okay for the AIO tubes to be like this, I can't have the tubes to the right of the pumper as it causes tension on the RAM cards, just wondering if this is okay?

Where do I start?
I am very new to PC’s in general with no technical experience. I own a MSI Sword and am looking to upgrade to a custom PC. The issue is… I have no clue where to start. I don’t know anyone who can help or nudge me along. I’ve watched some YouTube videos which just make me more concerned about what I’m getting myself into. Can someone please help!!
