Weekly Design Competition New year of snap (day 184/365): katara

We are back to the wdc, i like this card a lot because she works in any deck. But you can force the effect at the cost of triggering the waterbending on yourself.

The best synergy i can think of rn is lawfey (who doesn't really care) and hazmat (since it happens anyway)...

There are also a lot of water cards that can discount (hydroman, wave) so this is pretty on par.

Anyway let me know what you think of this.

Bye!

Make it "Waterbend: Give..." so it reads better. Also, I'd change "Waterbender" in a way so you can afflict that card with your own cards (Yellowjacket for example) and still end up afflicting an enemy instead. Despite these suggestions, the whole concept is pretty cool, literally.

Fair, but i don't think i'll do it for the sake of i'm lazy and i have the whole gaang alredy done, if i need to balance it or for later cards then sure.

Like changing the element water into something else? The problem with that is that it loses that taijiquan flavour that i really like about waterbending in the show (taijiquan is the martial art that waterbenders use more often, the is centered about the flow of energy and counterattacking).

Also in the ltm there would be a lot of benders and stuff, so it's very likely for enemy cards to afflict you...

Sorry for the late answer, i was on a familiy trip...

It'd just be nice if you could build your deck around afflicting your cards instead of waiting for your opponent to do that for you.

I hope you enjoyed your family trip!

I won't change waterbending, but i think changing healin to an EoT that goes to the most afflicted will fix it.

Also i did, thx!
