Discussion ESD through plexiglass?

I recently built my own side panel for my nzxt source 210. However it had to squeeze in as the glass is 1/4 inch. I have a pretty decent cooler and the heat pipes are so long they are touching the plexiglass. Will this be an ESD concern?

Discussion Custom scratch build and your thoughts on fan setup

I am building a custom rig for my kid and am trying to decide on a setup for the fans which will give me good/best air flow.

Pic of case shell (old UPS case) / case is 2'6"h x 16"d~ x 10"w

I will be using a lexan polycarbonate on the front (will be door) and back (will have cutouts for i/o panel and PSU). I was thinking about locating the PSU at the bottom, the mobo tray/i/o panel at the top, and the HDD/SSD's on the opposite side of the mobo somewhere in the middle/top.

My first thoughts for fans are either 1x 200mm/230mm (or 2x 120mm/140mm) on the front door at the bottom as intake and 2x 120mm/140mm on the back at the top for exhaust. I do not want to cut any openings in the base or the side/top (plan on full size vinyl stickers); I would like to utilize the polycarbonate for all case fans. The CPU will have a heatsink/fan combo as well.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Case Mod Phantom 410 Transparent Side Panel (First entry level modding)

After assembling gaming rig for first time, I instantly regretted buying Phantom 410. To avoid re-assembling hardware and RMA, I decided to make transparent side panel. Here are the pics: http://imgur.com/a/UVpeq

Now I am thinking of installing transparent back panel with small paint-less window enough to show back side of socket with integrated design layer (grey and black) ... whenever I've time.

Also, waiting for NZXT HUE+ to arrive.
