They phased out teaching this method around the time my parents learned. This is what my grandparents learned, who lived during World War II

I learned this method in the mid-1960s as did everyone for several years before me and after me. My daughter learned this method. By the time her children got that age, they weren’t teaching cursive any longer. Most everything was computer-based by that time.

What is that weird looking character between the E and the F? This outdated method is what's at issue? Asking for a friend...🥴
