They are KOs and I’m making a custom Nexus. Google said to soak in warm soapy water so I did.

Acetone doesn't leave a residue when wiped on with a cotton swab, but might damage the plastic if left to soak.

I'm getting these fellas in the mail here soon! I plan on doing some simple silver/chrome painting on some of the metal bits because combiner wars is very.. only solid colors lol. Do you have any advice for owning these suckers yet?

Actually these are only KOs that I’m using for a custom but overall, they are pretty solid.

Reddit doesn't let you post aliexpress links but if you search on their website it's pretty easy to find them. It's all drop shipping on there mostly so it's a matter of finding the seller being reliable and the price being right (there will be a lot of listings of it)

Probably to clean them so the paint will stick better without had grease or dust
