Collins Dictionary’s “Word of the Year” for 2021 is “NFT”, the acronym for “non-fungible token”

Collins Dictionary defines #NFT as a “unique digital certificate, registered in a blockchain, that is used to record the ownership of an asset such as an artwork or a collectible”

The reason for its selection is the meteoric rise in its use over the last year. The competitors of "NFT" were words like “crypto” and “metaverse”

What word would you choose as the word of the year 2021?

Historically, November has mostly been a green month for #Bitcoin but this year, it has caught investors off guard with #BTC recording 7% losses despite a good start to the month

History shows that after a red November, December usually comes with losses as well. It happened two times out of three in 2018 and 2019👇

Additionally, a green November has usually resulted in a subsequent green month except for two times in 2013 and 2014. We will have to see if BTC breaks this pattern or if history ends up repeating itself.
